Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

I am a former firefighter with Ventura County and I stumbled upon this show a couple weeks ago. I was impressed with the attention to detail as regards the process of different types of rescues. This show gives you a pretty accurate insight into the risk and danger experienced by rescue workers on a daily basis. The last episode I watched had quite a suspenseful rescue with one of the members of the rescue team going into a burning building filled with flammable gasses in order to rescue downed firefighters. The scene where Dolph came in to save the other guy was pretty intense. The show isn't only rescues though, they have quite an attractive female cast, especially that Latina at the graveyard.

Chill out everyone. It's a television show, not the opening negotiations for disarming nuclear armed North Korea. Good looking guys (who cares), hot women in bikinis (I care), in beautiful surroundings. Dolph Lundgren is a known going in. He brings what he always brings. J.R. Martinez grows as an actor with every outing. Fresh new faces fill out the show and present the creators with chances for growth and creativity. I anticipate that season two will benefit from the growth in season one and that new story lines will break this show open. Face it, in a world where Brooklyn Nine-Nine can win a Golden Globe as Best Sitcom, SAF3 is a sure bet to be around for a long time.

I just discovered "SAF3" last night & while I haven't seen the previous 4 episodes, I liked what I saw in episode #5. I've loved JR Martinez ever since he won DWTS & I thought he did a great job in last night's episode, which he was the star of. If you hated "Baywatch," you won't like this show even though it's much better than David Hasselhoff's crew of models, etc. But if you did like "Baywatch," you'll love this show. I wasn't a huge "Baywatch" fan but I am really digging "SAF3"! Yeah, the actors are unbelievably good looking & not at all realistic of what most everyday working heroes look like but I don't care. I like looking at attractive actors & I love any show about firefighters & rescuers. Dolph Lundgren wasn't in last night's episode but I'm looking forward to seeing him in action with the rest of the crew. To all the haters bashing the show, what can I say other than haters gonna hate. Check out "SAF3" - it's a fun show to escape reality for a while!

For those of us sick to death of smartypants post-post-modern irony, like Breaking Bad and Dexter, SAF3 comes as a breath of fresh air. Lung Dolphin is a proper leading man like Rab Butler in Gone in the Wind, not a wheezing creep like self-styled Dr Heisenberg. Give me men like this any day, men who take care of business without the pathetic need to talk everything out. I think the soundtrack by the Carpenters underscores the timber of the acting but the show also displays technical innovation, like the radar screen showing North America. We need more shows like this about the unsung heroes of everyday life. Come on writers. What about some shows about policemen? Or medical emergencies? Anyone?
