Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

This show is not about religion at all. It may show them In Church a couple times. Watch till the end. U will like it. Someone didn't give it a chance. And I'm not sure where this one review for hillbilly comes in. Lol. Must never met a real hillbilly I'm an avid movie and TV watcher. And this is a keeper. I love just about any type of show that is good. I'm a very hard critic and I enjoyed this.

After the X-Files TV show left the airwaves in the early 2000s, there was definitely a void left in us who craved stories of the supernatural and government conspiracy. Resurrected has, in a way, filled the void left by Agents Mulder and Scully. As a matter of fact, Resurrected seems to be one long drawn-out episode of my beloved X-Files. If casting is the key to making a great TV series, then Resurrected definitely hit the ball out of the park. The actors' interpretation of the characters makes me care enough to watch each week to find out what happens to them. Omar Epps and Jim Parrack are definitely standouts for me.If you liked the mysterious and eerie vibe of the X-files TV series, I believe you will like this Resurrected series as well. An emotional and thrilling journey through the town of Arcadia, Resurrected is quite different than all the other shows on the small screen today.

The show is okay, if you don't mind watching a below regular series, the only thing that will make you watch all the episodes is because you just want to understand what is happening, since it's a really controversial and 'unique' subject. The characters, from where can I start, you will notice that the same characters are everywhere, you ask yourself what the hell is Bellamy doing there yet, why is he acting like if he's the Sherlock Holmes himself, or Maggie, why is she into everything that shouldn't even need her attention. The script was certainly poor written, it is terrible, like 'to be easy to understand'?, for people who does not take series seriously and just want a simple TV show around an interesting theme, I might say that the best performance out there is Frances Fisher's, playing Lucille - which is average.I'm not taking in account a comparison between this and Les Revenants, but if you want me to tell you, Les Revenants is far superior, with a better script, better acting and far superior atmosphere.

Imagine a small rural town, and a long ago deceased boy comes back to life. The accident should have been local headlines for a long while, long enough for older people to remember the case and the faces. Three possible reactions:It is a work of the devil, it is a miracle or it is a fake. Any of them should have the town in a state of shock that does not appear to happen in small Arcadia. And Word should have to reach local newspapers, radio, State TV and finally nationwide. Besides from several people both at Arcadia nd in Washington DC, everybody walks by Jacob barely taking a glance at him. Simply not believable. Besides that, good thriller, and (at last) one with very few gunshots.
