It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

The show, while having nice production values, unfortunately derails itself by shoe-horning all too many progressive gender ideas into Dick's original stories.

The quality of the episodes is very irregular, with some great ones and some episodes that feel like very low budget. I also have a strong feeling this is one of those anthology shows that will not age well (it reminded me a lot of Nightmares& Dreamscapes, based on Stephen King's works). I was very excited when I first heard about it, and judging by other Amazon original productions I thought that it was going to be very good, but I ended up being extremely disappointed.

I utterly love this series. It totally transports me to another dimension. Love the scenes, the wardrobe, the psychological and political sublime messages. I'm really looking forward for the next season.

I really wanted to like this show, truly. I'm a big fan of anthology series', particularly sci-fi. But if there is one word that sums up Electric Dreams; it's Lazy. The storylines are completely undeveloped, almost as if you have a beginning and an end. I was shocked several times to realize the episode was over, saying to myself, that's it? In addition, there was almost no attention paid to the finer details. Most episodes are purported to take place in the near or medium future, but you have episodes like Crazy Diamond where technology is hyper advanced, but they drive around in 2008 Beetles, just with different hubcaps. You see the same lack of thought in Kill All Others, where they're driving around 2010 jeep cherokees with a fake electric hum, when the year is supposed to be 2050.The best episode by far is The Commuter, whose middling plot is saved by an impressive performance from Timothy Spall. Watch it, make up your own mind, but if you're looking for a show to fill the gap while you wait for more Black Mirror, this isn't it.
