It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
... View MoreThe storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

... View MoreFirst of all I'am a huge fan of the history tv series "Vikings", second of all I'am very happy to see that somebody thought of making more viking tv shows and movies. Norsemen even though doesn't seem something great in the beginning it is in fact a really enjoyable comedy about the viking lifestyle and behavior.
... View MoreIf you don't pay attention you'll think they're serious. Top notch dry humor. If you've ever participated in a living history event this show is great fun. Vikings are people too! Trigger Warning: Game of Thrones fans if you're watching this and feel disoriented or uncomfortable it's because you've never laughed before.
... View MoreIncredibly non-pc, gross, scatological and shocking, this is also one of the best written and truly hysterical comedies I have seen in forever; A refreshing bit of dark dark comedy that leaves me in tears when I am not gasping "did they really say that??!!". It's a gem. watch it and savor.
... View MoreAs a huge fan of Monty Python, I couldn't help but notice the stylistic resemblance, and if you like their approach, this comedy is a must see.Summary: modern life issues in a Dark Ages set, as seen through the eyes of a few Viking villagers. Then, as if the contrasting modern issues and the medieval set were not enough, there is another hilarious clash, the cultural differences between the Norse village inhabitants and the rest of the world, through the ideas come from afar, with the slaves they bring with them after a successful raid. This series also reminds me a bit of Woody Allen's Love and Death, in a sense that one of the main characters is a total misfit, having a completely different philosophy compared to the rest of the villagers. He seems just trapped in a time and place where he doesn't belong (the irony!).All in all, I love Norsemen, a sarcastic take on all that's wrong with us today. It is rather a micro-social kind of satire, but I wouldn't be surprised if some current largely debated global issues made their way into the series at some point.
