Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

I bet they never going to chase anything, to catch a animal you should mix yourself 50¬50 in nature, no noise, lots off days sometimes and patient, and they know that. So..I am happy for the cryptic/creatures they are "looking" for, they never will be chased(they are real, but not so easy to spot, like they show), and guys, careful with the way you hold the guns among yourselves...But there are in the series lots of things to learn and appreciate, the traps are magnificent but should be more disguised, the landscape its wonderful and we know more about the folklore and culture of the people and region, and I know they are honest guys, everybody need to eat and provide to the family. Wishing all the best. Sal from Portugal.

For a reality show, I find this to be an incredible joke. I understand that this is supposed to be Entertainment but these guys appear afraid of their own shadow let alone hunt some creature in the Alaskan wilderness. They seem to be running around half-cocked, shotguns in tow, totally and believe everything they hear and see and the evidence is obviously faked, which makes me wonder if the audience is supposed to have a lowered IQ or what? Everyone is well over 100 pounds overweight, they could chase me all day and never catch me and I'm female. Folks don't waste your time on this, it's embarrassing. Destination America has a lot of other reality charged programming that lends credit to evidence- based theories. Skepticism plays a role in a lot of the topics covered on this channel however, this group of fellows in Alaska kind of make the American pioneer frontiersman what have you, look foolish. I would be afraid to be on the set with all these guys running around with their weapons, I feel sorry for the cameramen the producers and those involved. Don't waste your time.

This show is a cheap carbon copy of Mountain Monsters which people might think is quality journalism compared to Alaska Monsters. Swamp Monsters is another stupid cookie cutter "reality show". If these shows actually reflect any kind of reality then I would rather just do hydrocodone and drink beer as opposed to living in their reality. I always liked "Finding Bigfoot" as I have always been interested in bigfoot ever since seeing "The Legend of Boggy Creek" and the Patterson-Gimlin footage in the early 70's but FB is getting kind of old too. If they could just find a skeleton or carcass or something it would at least lend some credence to the whole genre. The copycats just have to stop producing these lame attempts at entertainment.

I can't figure out of Destination America is some invention by Langley to help you stigmatize irrational fear into something that just seems real enough to believe ? or what. How bad does it get? This show is worse than bad. This show isn't doing any favors for Alaska Tourism, that's for sure.If you want to witness intentional provocation of baseless fears ?This show is for you.The characters look more like they've put their meth lab money together to start a TV station to 'spook' anyone away from their lab locations. Something is very suspicious about Destination America and the baseless fear it seeks to derive in the viewer. The landscape is absolutely beautiful though in many shots, and in my opinion - is the only thing of value with this show. However I would prefer someone SIMPLY just run a TV show showing the absolute beauty of Alaska. In my opinion, I can't decide which is scarier, Alaska's heroin problem deriving from 90% export base in Pakistan or that this show is even on the air. The attempts at psychologically terrorizing you from this show and others on this network ? Are on par with other attempts by unsaid major share holders of unsaid media networks in the United States. No, do not fear the Otterman, and do not live in fear of terrorism, Phil Mudd, recently retired from Langley puts it VERY CLEAR AND SIMPLE - terrorists are nothing but punk criminals - PERIOD. And from the looks of the characters on THIS show ? I'd say, these guys look like they probably have some history in some prison SOMEWHERE, and if not ? They would make GREAT candidates to promote baseless fear and propaganda. Where I come from ? You evolve that skill. That's why I can spot these clowns - you do some trimming around the edges ? drop the guy who didn't finish 6th grade? This show could go places in the right political contexts globally.
