The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

This is honestly one of the most brilliant and beautiful shows that I have ever had the absolute pleasure to watch. It is one of those shows that you can easily sit down and marathon through an entire disc or two in one sitting. The characters are really well fleshed out as this is more of a character driven show. The countryside setting isn't always my favorite but for Mcleod's I make an exception as Drover's run is now one of my favorite television show settings. The scenery is always breath-taking and the dialog is really intelligent as the conversation flows naturally. When disaster strikes it hurts the viewer to watch their favorite characters pass on, especially since the actors and actresses have hardly been on anything else it makes it all the more realistic when they depart (which is a shame because they are really talented actresses). The Australian landscape is hauntingly beautiful and adds to the seductive factor of the show. The characters leave too soon. The new characters (although they do take a bit of getting used to) end up stealing the show, especially Regan, Kate and Moira. The soundtrack is from an Australian singer- Rebecca Lavelle- and sometimes the actors of the show, such as Michala Banas, record their own songs for the show. The show is definitely one not to miss and if I wasn't going to spoil anything for you I would honestly chat with you for 10 hours straight on the entire series. An extremely underrated series please give it a watch.

I loved this serial with everything contains from events to actions to human relations to the hope of tomorrow no matter how hard is the time been but yet we have to work & survive ........the ladies r the leaders with such a sense of responsibilities with dreamy actual look to life with evaluation 4 the situation could be right & could be wrong it doesn't matter what matters in the end is the family & friend ship & people .... the simplicity of their lives is a heart taken while we all live in a material world full of technicality which caused us the tragic lost of simple life .... away from all the digits ... together in a good meaning of cooperation the MaCloeds daughters r living their sunny days ... i wish i can in real life have such a life ... Good luck & forward to see more. thanks 4 u IMDb 4 this chance to say my opinion ... thanks 4 all who mind reading this point of view ...

McLeod's Daughters does not accurately depict life in remote Australia. Their station is set 400km from the nearest main town yet they have mobile coverage, yeah right. I live 100km from Sydney and I don't have mobile coverage!! Maybe if they had satellite phones I could forgive the show but it seems that whenever there is an emergency they can't get coverage... Just one of the inconsistencies this show has. Any twist in the plot couldn't be more obvious if it was advertised in advance in the classifieds. The only redeeming point for McLeod's Daughters is that it showcases Australia's scenery with most of the filming taking place outdoors, but then again Skippy was filmed mostly outdoors and in a National Park to boot... Escapist television more suited to teenagers.

first i have a question...why have you taken out the episode guides, who's been guest staring on them..i have found that very useful in the past to keep up with the episodes that have aired in Australia and how many more we have to catch up on here in Canada..and if i see a familiar face..i can go and look for either the actor's name or the character's name..i have also noticed that you have taken that out on other TV shows as well....who the guest stars are......they should be put back in..i love the series..i think that we have about 10 episodes left of 2005..and then we will catch up to 2006..wherever they are in the series..it's on every Friday night..(mostly) for me, and i look forward to it being on..it's one of my favourite shows....i will miss nick though.....but i do understand if he wanted to leave the series and try for something else..i'm looking forward to getting to know the new guy..and i think that Dave and Kate as a couple are great..if only she'd wake up to the fact..(wont' give it away with the eppy that i saw) for the other people....but the couple that i really want are Stevie and Alex..i'll always think that he belongs with Claire..but since she's gone....awe...i think that it's been on two years for us now...or something like that.....but we are pretty much caught up to where they are...in so many ways this reminds me of the series country practice....which i'm sorry that it's gone...i just loved it..susan
