Such a frustrating disappointment

Excellent but underrated film

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

I myself am a teenager and I did not particularly like Runaways. I like the Marvel Netflix shows, but some of the teenagers are sulky for personal reasons that benefit the story, but everything is too melodramatic. The sulkiness translates to anger and they set up at least three separate love triangles, which is not a huge part of teenage life. They clearly set up for one of the girls to question her sexuality, but while it is great they are showing this, it detracts from the story. The Netflix shows get to plot right away and integrate love or motivations into the story so it is seamless. Runaways is slow on the draw, the first two episodes show the same day through the perspectives of the kids and the parents. I gave up quickly after that, but the best episodes of a season should be at the beginning in order to hook you in. The acting is not amazing, but that is entirely understandable from the teenagers. I did not like the parents' acting abilities. There is a central mystery, but the audience suspects that it has something to do with the parents somehow. I would not suggest this show for a few reasons. The show is far too slow, too many love triangles, and mediocre writing. Hulu is not in good shape if this is one of their most popular shows.

The casting the music the phenomenon is really really good. And I'm addicted to this drama. Can't wait the second season.

The show itself was really well written the character development while slow was solid and really set a solid pace going into season 2. This is without a doubt the best non netflix live action marvel show out there.

Uggg....I can't watch this! The whole concept of them turning on their parents is just stupid! They don't even trust their own parents not to hurt them eventho they've been raised and cared for by their parents all their lives! SERIOUSLY!!! Come on!A lot of people are giving this show high ratings. I don't know how you all were raised but I can't snitch on my own mom.When you watch mafia movies you don't see the kids growing up snitching on the parents. They grow up to join the family business!!This show is some BULLSHI##
