While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Mediocre episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is for some reason split into six five-minute episodes and inserted as a mini-series between the third and fourth season. If one does not watch it all at once, it probably does not make any sense.6/10

A simple Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode before season 4. If you missed you don't miss anything. An extra thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we can see what happen with the "inhumans agents" after Sokovia accords and nothing more. If you are an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan go watch.

This is "Slingshot", a mini-series that includes six episodes (at this point) and features characters from the pretty successful television show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.". The focus here is on a character named Yo-Yo Rodriguez or actually Slingshot (played by Natalia Cordova-Buckley), so this one is named after her. We find out a bit about her connection to S.H.I.E.L.D. and also witness how she goes on a revenge trail where she fails quickly however and needs saving from a character named Quake that I found far more interesting than the title character to be honest. Episodes run between 3 and 7 minutes, so it does not take long at all to watch the entire thing in one sitting, easily under an hour in fact, even less than an episode of the series it promotes. But for me, somebody who does not know S.H.I.E.L.D., this mini-series did not get me curious about the original series at all and I don't think you have to have seen a series in order to be tempted to appreciate a spin-off/mini-series. So yeah, the main character did little for me and the whole thing feels very much style over substance as they rushed in so much in terms of action and excitement that it just doesn't feel authentic anymore at all. I give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
