I've watched the series twice now (both seasons) and on the plus side I find the female cast extremely attractive and the music generally pleasant and catchy. On the downside a few of the scripts seem to have been written by high school dropouts whose command of the English language is highly questionable. I also applaud the casting of three oriental ladies as the stars, it's not very common. The music is highly produced so it is hard to ascertain what vocal skills they possess but I get the impression they are above average. Another positive element I should mention is that the characters are free to date other characters regardless of their ancestry. It sets a fine example of tolerance which seems to be rather lacking elsewhere.

Nickelodeon has made some great shows over the years like Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Hey Arnold, Invader Zim, Drake and Josh, and many more. Now we get this? Why is Nickeloden not pulling the plug on this show? They need to realize that this is and awful show and end it as soon as possible! This show has 2 seasons and 2 specials that it never deserved. Plus, the actors and actresses are terrible! They are boring and not funny! This show needs better actors and actresses like Drale Bell, Josh Peck, Miranda Cosgrove, Amanda Bynes, Jerry Tranior, Nathan Kress, Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denburg, and many more.I do not recommend this show at all!

Bottom line, I am not supporting this show because the producer of this film has pitched this show said to a Canadian media company and my friend( who is an employee there at the time and also an Asian male ) asked him are there going to be any Asian guys, to which this producer replied, " Asian guy in my show? Not gonna happen!!". Read this reddit article: http://www.reddit.com/r/television/comments/2y6qk6/tv_producer_asian _guys_in_my_show_not_gonna_happen/This goes to show you how racist these producers are in this industry. As an Asian male myself I am extremely offended by the marketing materials already because it obviously just portrays Asian girls lusting over the white guy which is not only stereotypical, but perpetuates stereotypes that divide the Asian community by purposefully including Asian women and purposefully excluding Asian males as if we are non-existent. It doesn't stay true to Kpop at all, in which the industry consist of 50% Asian MALES. I would give this -10 stars if I could but there isn't that option here. This show truly disgusts me.

I completely disagree with "Leah Mckenzie" 's review. For a person not into Kpop, "she" sure writes a lot on a completely unknown and unpopular Kpop show, ranting about how racism doesn't exist and how anyone who dare to talk about it is the racist.Pretty much the worse show I have ever seen. In THE ONE place, a show about Kpop, where they could have Asian males in it without being completely sexless, they manage to do away with it. I am actually very IMPRESSED how they managed to pull this off, without anyone pointing out how ridiculous this is.Why is white Hollywood so averse to having any Asian males on screen, except in extremely clichéd and stereotyped roles? I have no idea. Why is having a normal sexually functioning Asian male on screen so damn hard for American media?---Notice how the two reviews saying "there is no racism" or "racism is overblown" or "anyone who complain about racism is racist themselves" are all registered within a week and never have a single review in the past. While the only guy talking about how this IS an example of racism (the main guy behind this show, Thomas Lynch, literally said in no unclear terms "he will never have an Asian guy on his show") has a 10 year account and tons of past reviews.
