This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

The vocabulary is so fast I had to watch each section again and again. Who speaks this fast. There is no pause between conversations.I was not sure this was even american english,it's not! Looks like it could be a good show but be prepared to repeat sections with english subtitles again and again just to follow what they are saying.

I started off watching the YouTube shorts years ago, and recently learned that they were able to create a show. After two days, I binged the entire 4 seasons and began rewatching the series.The writing is amazing! I cringe from the Skid's dialogue. laugh uncontrollably listening to the hockey players, and waiting to hear the next conversation at the produce stand. The show does a great job with keeping it all simple, and the actor's finish it off with their deliveries that make everything damn near a catchphrase. "I suggest you let that one marinate."This show will prod your inner Canadian and give you a hankering for some poutine.Highly recommend. "Ninja Dust!"

Just finished watching season two. Very satisfied.I am a huge fan of language based jokes and word-play, also fast patter that flies so high that I almost miss the many gems. This show will keep you alert, if you are into those things. But there is much more; elaborate story lines, deep thoughts - and a bit of dick and farts. I'm so in!Inspired writing, perfect casting, an original idea - and then some! You feel like you are invited into this small Canadian town, and you feel at home. I want to get to know these people!I just want to recommend this series to anybody who likes intelligent comedy. I feel like this should be the next Sunny or Workaholics, it is as good for sure!Check it out! This is top shelf!

I cannot fully express how much my wife and I love this show. I had been seeing the commercials for this show that were also advertising CraveTV for some time, and although I was intrigued, I didn't want to pay extra when my satellite bill is already high. I was really excited when Comedy announced they would show a marathon on Canada Day. We set the DVR and started watching when we got home Friday night. We loved it so much, we watched every episode twice. This show will resonate with anyone who grew up in a small town, but the comedy translates well to urban folks, too. Like other posters have said, this is a gritty version of Corner Gas. The writing on this is incredible, and I don't know how the actors could have kept straight faces while delivering those lines! So when season 2 starts on Crave, I will be signing up for my one month trial. Pitter patter!
