Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

... View MoreYes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
... View MoreI love this show!!! I always enjoyed Leah on King of Queens but, seeing her with her family is hilarity at its finest! Like she's says, "You can't make this sh** up!!!" I laughed, I cried and I got to see an actress (star) being 'normal' for a change. I hate (and I do mean hate) reality TV. It's fake, scripted most of the time and feels so empty. But, the Remini family feels genuine and believable. Leah shows us that she is grounded and stays that way surrounded by her family and friends. I hope and pray this show continues for many more seasons because I truly enjoy getting to watch it. Every family member and close friend is a joy to watch. I didn't find myself wanting to turn it off even once. YAY!!! Good job TLC!!!
... View MoreNot many Hollywood Reality shows safe to sit down and watch with the whole family anymore. This one is A+!!!! Includes everything from the In-laws to Outlaws and the DOGS haha..Everyone here LOVES it, and look forward to even the rerun episodes throughout the week ;)The editing is amazing, spot on and catchy.Wonderful to see a family in HW so close, so NORMAL,so American even though "mom" is such an ... ?...eccentric GEM ?..lolHopefully they will extend her season!!!I can even see a spin-off on this whole family somewhere in the future..VOILA!!!
... View MoreLook, this show is not the King of Queens (KOQ). Stop looking for that. It's Leah. Simply and plainly put. Leah and her family make light of themselves and their life in Hollywood. All they ask is that you watch, laugh a little and enjoy. This show is absolutely funny and enormously refreshing. There isn't any sleeping around, fighting, drunken stupidity or excessive dangerous situations that teach people (especially younger viewers) that even you can be famous and wealthy if you are a drunken, no talent skank. Above all, there is no need for subtitles when someone is speaking English. This show is a CHARACTERTURE of a real Hollywood family that doesn't take themselves too seriously. They hold it all together when other celebrities and their families are falling apart. They love each other, laugh and have fun. Leah has eccentricities that people can relate. The thought of getting older, our weight, our looks and the safety and well being of our children all manifest itself in a light and relatable way. NO reality show is completely real (I know, it's like finding out there's no Santa Claus). Leah's show is most likely no different. Watch it for what it is. Real fun...PERIOD. My kids and I love Carrie Heffernan. But when we want to watch Carrie, Doug and Arthur, we watch KOQ. I suggest you do the same.
... View MoreI appreciate Leah Remini's acting and her ability to keep it real on THE TALK. This show, however, is just awful. If this is her family life, I don't find it funny or enjoyable, only sad. We all have some strange family aspects, but it doesn't warrant putting it on TV. This show is comparable to Honey Boo Boo which I watched for 37 seconds before wanting to vomit. I made it halfway through this program before the same sensation began to stir. Also, Leah's taste in everything is terrible: makeup that could be scraped off with a squeegee, a hideous, ill-fitting, red glitter dress (boobs a bursting) for a backyard party that added to the Las Vegas sideshow decor of the event.Leah, you can do better than this type of program. Don't exploit yourself or your family for laughs. You can't need the money that badly. If you do, "all in the family" should get a job at McDonald's.
