Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

A series on the cusp of feminism. Icy Margaret Lockwood in cerebral and still rather sexy middle-age played the role of a female barrister confronting the stuffy antiquated chauvinism of 'chambers' with the same unflinching resolve she brought to British law itself.Lockwood was a fine actress who could handle the part with verve. Each episode was an hour long - some feature films were scarcely longer in those days - so there was plenty of time for a good story to develop and be resolved. There was a small but excellent supporting cast and minimal set changes, most of which were the stuffy confines of the law. It was an early British forerunner to America's equally worthy 'Law & Order'. Though 'Justice' was played out with a fraction of the budget.Very iconic theme music too. Not available on DVD yet. Well worth a watch if you get the chance.
