This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

My parents have not missed an episode of Jeopardy since 1984 unless they were sick or had a major meeting to go to..I mean major. Only the end of the world could make them miss one episode. They play the game at home and answer every question so often they must think Alex Trebeck can hear each one and keep score for them. My dad invented saying "pat" each time one of us is correct. One pat is for half right and two pats is for completely right. I personally can't stand the game so fans of it needn't read further. I ignored it all throughout high school and junior college for as long as my stereo would rock in my bedroom without wearing out. The show itself is a failure on several fronts. It fails to reward creative thinking and convinces us mechanical memorization is most socially acceptable. Alex tends to view the men as superior and tease the female contestants more often, especially if they are at rare times not ugly. Except for after the issue was raised here, women were more often losing with plural form answers than men. Celebrity tournament players always had grade school level questions.

I guess that the reason that "Jeopardy!" is so great is that it really challenges you to think, and I've learned so many interesting facts from it. I hope to be a contestant one day. Obviously, Ken Jennings's winning streak was beyond impressive, and the "Celebrity Jeopardy!" spoofs on "Saturday Night Live" are priceless. But it all dates back to this show's premise of forming the answer as a question. It must be really fun coming up with the answers.I will say that the Clue Crew is unnecessary. But either way, I still say that this is the best game show ever. Alex Trebek is one heckuva host. There will never be another show like this.So which category to take now?

This will be remembered as one of the best game shows of all time, bar none. They have the perfect host in Alex Trebek. I love the gimmick of revealing the answer and having the contestants guess the question to go along with it. I wish they hadn't discontinued giving prizes to the runners-up though. Those were cool. I love seeing how many of the questions I can guess correctly when I watch it. Perhaps the most recent thing it will be remembered for was Ken Jennings's amazing run of 74 straight wins. That was incredible. Here's to Ken! I also love the final jeopardy theme song. I also tuned in almost every day to the Ultimate Tournament of Champions, which was a great idea. I actually remembered a few of the contestants on that. Hats off to a truly great game show! *** out of ****

Some game shows have come and some have gone, but there's only one that is still withstanding the test of time: "Jeopardy!". Some game show s seem to rely on pure dumb luck or humiliation to get over. Not "Jeopardy!". It still gives its contestants and audience points for actually having knowledge. I should know because I actually got on this game last year! Let me tell you, if you think it's tough trying to guess the answers (actually, questions) from the comfort of your own home, try doing it with cameras in your face and two other people trying to outguess you. The tryout quiz alone will have your brain itching. Being behind the scenes of the show makes it no less fun to compete like you would at home, just a LITTLE more pressure. How did I do? Well, let's just say I can FINALLY take some overseas trips like I've always wanted to do.
