I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

For those of you not yet seen it and wonder: "What differs this from all other monster series (mostly crap) that's been the last 5-8 years?" Well, first it's produced by Eli Roth (you know, the Hostel-movies?). That means: do not eat at the same time you watch, and yes, it is hyper-gory. This shows every brutal detail: eyes popping out, people consuming festered corpse-fluids, several people cut in half, or skinned alive, faces chewed off, showed for all to study in detail. It is damn exciting though, because you'll be sitting guessing who's the main crook, of many evil people, who the first seasons chase is about? You'll probably find that the classic stereotypes of vampire/Werewolf movies are a bit thrown aside here. Of course the perpetrator attacking teenage girls in Jack the Ripper-style × 5 has to be a man, right? Hmm...who could it be? The settings are a combination of hi tech genetic abominations and monsters, and I cannot really understand some of the very low ratings here. I caught me after about 15 minutes and I could not what to get to the end of the first season; now I've started s2.Not for all, but far better than any True Blood or Walking Dead ever was.

why Hollywood and all the Americans think of Europe as a country and about Romanian's that are all gypsy, history hint we are not...Gypsy come from India not Romania.Europe its not a country so before you do a movie or start talking about something learn some history. People that make fun of a beautiful country that has many smart people like Victor Babeş has invented penicillin,Ion I. Agârbiceanu: designer of the first gas laser,Ana Aslan: inventor of Gerovital and many more so please stop with this things about Romanian being Indian gypsy.

Season 1 was compelling if flawed because of Famke's acting/accent.Season 2 was pretty interesting and set the stage for a nice finish.Don't watch season 3. It makes no sense, and I think the actors knew it. They seemed to be just playing out their parts with some maybe interesting scenes, although maybe not.I think Netflix/someone needs to go back and restart from season 2 or even season 1.I'd like to see the bromance not be arbitrary as it was in season 2. Peter should have had similar feelings to Roman, and what was going on with the mom? Basically, it all fell apart.

It's nothing like I was expecting but overall it's a pretty decent show. The first few episodes of season one were probably the worst as it took a bit to find it's flow. Once it did season one became the best and most exciting season. I have never seen so much gore and the concept while nothing really new was constructed in a way that I couldn't see what was coming next.Season two similarly started out slow but then evolved well towards the end. I only have season three to go and cannot wait to see how they finalise the show. There are so many directions they can take it.One of my only criticisms is the acting. The cast are talented enough but thank god they got rid of Olivia Godfrey's terrible accent. It was hard to tolerate and gave the show an amateur feel. As the show progressed it became less noticeable and you could just enjoy. It's not for everyone but if you're a supernatural fan then it might just be that "something new" you've been craving.
