It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

By far the favorite series from my childhood. "Beverly Hills" and others from the genre can not come close. It has been aired for 7 seasons, has 210 episodes and was a springboard for a bunch of Australian stars. Maybe it's not a masterpiece of cinema, but it is best in the genre without any competition. Mostly because it's realistic. I mean, how many people in the world can relate to rich snobs from Beverly Hills... The events in this series are something most similar to growing up in Serbia that we had the opportunity to watch on television. And we all know someone who is the image of every character in the series. It's amazingly addictive and 210 episodes of 45 minutes flies by in a jiffy.9/10

I hate this show with all the white hot passion of a million burning suns. I have never watched a single episode, but god knows if I was as rich as Tony Stark I would buy every copy and burn them in a giant bonfire, dancing around the embers of this terrible show. Like a pagan god basking in the joy of a well earned kill. I would pay every TV station in the world to deny its existence to never show it ever again.I do have a very good reason for hating this show, and this review should not be taken as an advisement not to watch it. Watch it all you like, but know that I hate it. I had to use video from this show for an assignment. Which mean watching it over and over and over again. Like a demonic puppy that demands love without providing any joy. There have been times where I have considered performing a 'magic trick' on my own head to eradicate the memory of the Tarzan call from my brain meat. Like I said, don't take this as a serious review, but as what it actually is. The desperate ranting of a UNI student who just wants an assignment to end.

Heartbreak High is one of those shows that appeal to some, but not to others. Some weeks, its interesting, others, its boring like other Australian dramas.Some of the issues raised in class are well debated. The main problem, though, is the writers decision of cutting stars out of the show, just when the audience starts to get to know them well. Ryan and Anita were the two that I thought were the best characters, but the writers decided to move them along.Heartbreak High is adequate. Its not the type of program that makes me want to set the recorder every week, but at the same time, its entertaining enough. Rating=3/5

This TV-series is very good, I do not think there is another realistic series about High School with so many good actors and so good storyline. It treats many important aspects of growing up, difficult times and good times. I think that entertainment today is speculative and cold. This series is not. Its about values, but not so much as becoming a pain in the butt.
