While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

The last scene is really worth it. The look on their faces, the gradual smile, the understanding and the connection.. All made it a very satisfying ending.

This show has the intensity and sexy drama that many will fall deep into. There's many real life scenarios that have been undeniably avoided in the past. It's upsetting to know it was cancelled after one season. I'm in hopes that it will be brought back for fans to enjoy. Netflix didn't give it enough time to grow. The ending to season one was the perfect cliffhanger. Disappointing to throw such a real show away. Full of much talent.

A certain fruit throwing website currently rates this show at 24% and I can not tell you why. Luckily I started watching on a Saturday... when there wasn't much to do. No, there probably won't be any explosions or alien invasions but it does invade your mind. It offers a fairly deep story and it truly has some of the best written dialogue I've witnessed in quite some time. The interactions between Billy Crudup (Almost Famous!) and Naomi Watts feel genuine. The actors clearly respect the show because they all seem to do a great job of delivering convincing and natural dialogue which pulls you in to watching more. The content is smart, researched after one episode it stuck with me until I had to come back and watch another. TWO BIG TOES UP.

I don't know why this TV series is not gonna have a Season 2. The story is captivating. Probably the first two or three episodes don't keep you interested but then it starts to make you feel curious about what is gonna happen next. It turns out to be a real mystery.SPOILER: And the intense lesbian romance between these two crazy women intrigues you the most.
