This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

9/10 stars. I hated when the cable company took away El Ray network in my area it was around season 2. So I had to wait for these to go to stream networks before being able to see them all. Eiza Gotzalez is an amazing actress and I know for one I would have never seen her with out this series!!! The other cast were amazing. Seasons 1&2 were great they added so much story to the original Dusk Till Dawn movie. Then came season 3 it was not great but really not that bad. I just wish they would have took a little more time to make it right. It seemed rushed to me. With all the problems I think came with season 3 I still think the series overall deserves a great score. I still hate the cable company took El Ray Network off the list in our area.

Watched the first series when it came out, only found out today there are two more. Now im not a movie critic or whatever, but as a bloke who works 6 days a week focussing on his business, I can rarely watch a movie when I get home as my mind wanders. This show has me hooked, don't nor need to mention the Tarantino classic, take it as it is, and I find it highly enjoyable and relaxing, that's what tv is for last time I checked, shut the works out and escape

From Dusk to Dawn was an annoying movie, containing a brilliant, first half - a gritty crime drama - and then taking a bizarre left turn into the supernatural, as though an entirely different movie had been grafted on.The series essentially fixed the movie's problems. It retained the gritty intensity, but it introduced the supernatural early, rather than springing it on the viewer in mid-stride, and the result was very satisfying. The second season was a continuation of the first, but was decidedly a lesser creation. There was a lot of weirdness in the first season, with strange visions and a lot of weirdness, and in season 2 most of that's gone, making it basically a standard crime show with vampires. While I made it to the end of the season, I found myself increasingly disinterested, and didn't even bother checking out season three.Rating is for season 1. That's well worth watching. After that, I wouldn't bother.

From Dusk Till Dawn ...I first thought this was another foreign Mexican show but it isn't. It is about Ancient myths and ideologies coming to place in a modern 21st century environment, a brotherly drama, a pact of blood and human destiny. It's really not something you can summarize here at all.It stars some of the most convincing actors I have seen on TV, and the action scenes are so unbelievably intense (and I'm not someone who gets on the edge of my seat for even what many call the most intense scenes on the Game of Thrones, which is known for its high intensity scenes), but in this show, it does a damn fine job of getting me all pumped up and excited without even consciously knowing that i am excited. Some parts are just cinematically beautiful, and some of it just reminds me of those quintessentially awesome cinematic scenes from a classic Tarantino movie like Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs. Tarantino is heavily involved with this show and does the screenplay for the episodes. Stellar cast and crew working on this. It's a definite winner. Similarly, if you think the pilot is slow (which is highly unlikely if you watch it till the end, you will be hooked onto what happens next, just like me), the next four episodes is more drama & action, and then it comes to some super intense action-hero type stuff, which the 12-year old dorky comic book reader kid inside of me, just couldn't stop jumping up and down about. I seriously binge watched the entire first season in one or two days, and again, I am not this type of person, but it is totally worth it binge-watching this entire series.I think this is a more hardcore version of Supernatural and it has similar 'brotherly' themes. Like that, it also has the same suspense that The Walking Dead does, with vampires instead of undead zombies. The effects are damn convincing and awesome, no other words to describe it. The awesome plot twists like the Game of Thrones, are also present here. This is mainly because the writers and Special effects team are movie guys, and have done really popular classic movies, and they use those same techniques for this show. This is my new favorite TV show. (even higher than Game of Thrones, the Walking Dead, etc) and no, I haven't even watched the movie version yet. But I will eventually.I recommend this to anyone in this world.
