if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

This is one of the worst shows out there in the, what i call "myth shows". I've seen a lot but this "gem" gets the first place. Whenever you see academics in the rain forest, looking for new animals they DO NOT make a whole lot of noise and KEEP QUIET! Even hunters and fishermen/women sit still and as quiet as can be before they can see any game. There are only 2 interesting people on that show: Bobo and Cliff. Matt seems like a jerk on occasions and Renea or whatever she is called (the so called hardcore skeptic and "self-proclaimed academic") is not as smart. Rule nr one, you want to see some animal you do no not go yelling and hooting through the forest at night. You keep as quiet as you can be.However it is kind of fun seeing some grown men and women stumbling in the dark making a complete fool of themselves. thus a 3-4/10 for this one.

"Finding Bigfoot" follows 4 members of the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization) in their search of prime evidence that "Bigfoots" exist. In a typically episode they have a couple night investigations, a town hall meeting followed up by viewing the sites of some of the sightings mentioned at the town hall, and some extra shots.I love it how they "lure in" a Sasquatch. Most of the time they do calls/howls, but often they'll do "wood knocks". If they get a response, a thermal camera may capture a hot spot.I disagree with the other reviews; the "Squatchers" (the amount of times they incorporate the word 'squatch' in their talking makes me have a good laugh) aren't kid-like buffoons that'll think any shadow is a mythical creature; they're actually quite realistic, especially Ranae. A good 75% of what they find they put aside as some other animal, or fake.Sure, sometimes they might think a blot on the thermal camera is something else then it obviously is, but in my opinion that only makes the show better.People expect too much of the show; they're searching for a mythical creature that has no real evidence of existence. And yet the bad reviewers expect there to be hard evidence in every episode. In the last episode I watched there were no responses or sightings, and yet it was still satisfying. One other thing that makes the show better is the cheesy cliffhangers; there will be a signature on the thermal camera, or a sound in the distance, and then it will cut to commercial, but not before their classic intro/outro of an bigfoot screaming. These are always a funny addition. But don't get me wrong, I don't watch the show for laughs; some aspects may be funny, but the hunt of a mythical creature is what makes the show special.

How can this show still be on the air. They try to present Renae as the lone voice of reason when in fact all they have to do is a little basic statistical analysis. For example, what percent of the supposed sightings that people talk about are during daylight hours. I would guess it is close to 95%. So why do they insist on always doing night investigations. If they wanted to really find a big foot, why not find the most promising area and just fly drones overhead until they get an actual documented video. I am done with this show. Furthermore, why can they not focus on the same area until it is either proved or disproved. I am so tired of this show. I actually started watching it because I wanted them to be successful but after so many years of the same old thing I don't even care to watch it any more.

Spoiler alert, they never find Bigfoot because he is imaginary. They go to different towns and have a "town hall meeting" where 3/4 of the people raise their hand when they ask if people have seen big foot. I'm sure no one got paid to be there or raise their hand, it's co- incidence. Then they go to where people supposedly saw Bigfoot and have Bobo walk around and if he walks in the same spot this proves Bigfoot was there. Then they go out in the woods at night and say every noise they hear is "a Squatch." Then they make "calls" to these Bigfoot creatures and say they answer back. Since there has never been any DNA evidence of bigfoot, they got a job as long as the ratings hold. I'm so jealous but it's boring to watch.
