If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

The show was pretty lame. Thus, why we don't see it very often on MTV if at all. The biggest problem with the show was that it was rigged at the end, according to some of the producers. They couldn't tell who actually won that last fight and it caused a bit of a stink when they gave it to the winner cause he really didn't win scoring wise. So it remains more pseudo reality where the producers make minor "adjustments" to the story to create some sort of drama. Some of the segments where rigged in which the contestants' objectives weren't placed in the segment as so they wouldn't win. Dirty tricks I would say. In the long run 25K went to the wrong person. Don't waste your time with this unless it is four a.m. and they are blasting it on MTV2 and your on a commercial break form TBS.

I know that MTV only looks at the young and the beautiful in order to get good ratings for their shows. This show, Final Fu is a unrealistic look at what makes a real Martial Artist. Mr Ernie Reyes Jr. should know this! The fights are not practical.I don't think that going through these "so called" obstacle courses proves anything. I'm a martial artist. I train in American Kenpo and I've trained in Kajukenbo. I was very disappointed when I saw these episodes. I think they should have young as well as older martial artists. The fights should be more realistic, with head gear for head contact. The obstacle courses should be more realistic. These producers should stop looking at ratings and let the public see real Martial Artists!! DON'T SUPPORT THIS SHOW!!

I found this show very entertaining and addictive. I am a martial artist myself from Master Ernie Reyes Jr's father's school. While some people seem to believe that the judges are bias from my personal experience they are judging correctly. The show is different from other "reality" show which I cannot stand. The show closely reflects the teachings of martial arts and is entertaining in general. as a martial artist I find points in the show funny and the fights are really good. There are times when I get a little upset at some of the contestants but overall the show is fantastic and I would recommend it to everyone martial artist or other wise.

It's nice to see a reality show/competition that focuses on the competition and not the drama. Give me more!! The only thing is I was hoping to see some Chinese stylists on. I know there are 3 more weeks and plenty more fighters to show up. It would be cool to see this go beyond one season, too. I haven't followed his martial arts career for some time but I do remember seeing Master Reyes in a few movies. It's amazing how much he resembles his father, now. If anyone else reads this and they agree with me please take a few minutes and let MTV know how you feel. Do the traditional stylists a favor and help rescue us from the all powerful UFC.
