All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.

Yeah, Enos was like McCloud and Gomer Pyle, who was based on Andy Griffith's character in No Time For Sergeants. Enos's personal car was something like a 1968 or 1969 Chevelle with a Weiand tunnel ram intake manifold and two four-barrels. He bought it in California with money from selling some hogs back at home in Georgia. Funny, I never heard of Enos's hogs on The Dukes of Hazzard. Does his family tend his hogs for him while he's away from home? Maybe hogs run wild in Georgia like branded cattle in the West. Enos was always talking about his hogs back at home. Enos and Turk got involved in prosecuting prostitutes (Enos called them "harlots"), cracking down on cocaine traffickers, and going to Nevada for a prisoner. There was an episode with a lady truck driver, and Enos showed he could drive a truck. Obviously the only people who watched Enos were his fans from The Dukes of Hazzard, but the show might have lasted at least another season, you'd think. Actually, it might have had more potential than the DOH. Gomer Pyle lasted more than one season.

This is one show that should have been on for more than one year. This was basically a tongue and cheek version of all the so-called "super cop" shows and for the life of me I don't know why it was canceled. The story took naive deputy Enos Strate and move him to the big city of Los Angeles where he and his partner Turk were somehow able to solve every major crime they stumbled upon. This show pretty much had the car chases of the Dukes of Hazzard, the fish out of water premise of McCloud and Enos' innocent nature was very reminiscent of Gomer Pyle. This was a very enjoyable show to watch and even though it had lots of car chases, it didn't have all the violence and gore associated with most cop shows and it was all done very much with tongue firmly planted in cheek. This show was definitely canceled too soon.

The Show was the best thing I ever saw. He made people feel real about things in life. I have just one wish lift in me and is someday I can see him again. I have a son that I name after him. My wish that someday he could meet my son. My son is now in the U.S. Army now. He never got to see "Enos".

Enos was pure camp and a spin off The Dukes of Hazzard. I wish it would have lasted more than one season. I hope that It will be shown on tv again but I doubt it. I also hope that it will be released on DVD. But Hell I don't see that happen either. If you know anymore info on this please feel free to e-mail me. If you get a chance to see it enjoy it.
