This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

While it is very light in atmosphere it has some unique depth behind it and greatly developed characters. The show has interesting legal cases that challenge the legal system and expand our thoughts and test boundaries. All the characters are colourul, complex and entertaining. The storyline is a treat for people who have some cusiousity about the possibilities of the afterlife, and what does it mean for our soul to be in a different body, and the questions of true love versus pure physical attraction. A lovely show that will be missed.

I would love it if this show came back on ..I loved it and miss it...people were into it...everyone I know loved it. Great cast, great plots and a story line you don't see much...please revive this fabulous show!! I know that the real attorney was in the judges body when he woke up...I still think about what was going to happen in the next season. So in short, the writing was great, well acted, music good, fashion, make up, and I felt good after each show...could not wait for Sunday night. Drop Dead Diva tee shirt would be nice!

This show is alright. It's often funny and heartwarming, and the legal stories are usually pretty interesting too. I utterly loved the characters of Stacey and Fred, in particular. For the first 2-3 seasons, I was pretty hooked on this show.I gave it only 5 stars for a reason, though! They really could've cut a good season or so from it without harming the story at all- it drags a bit in seasons 4 & 5, though 6 was better. There are times when it gets into preachy territory - people who get irritated by social justice warriors, be warned, there are a few nauseatingly politically correct and preachy episodes. Jane's character and the poor communication between some characters started to grind on me toward the end, but the series end was satisfying nonetheless. All in all, yeah, it was a decent show. Worth a watch, but I won't rave about it or anything.

UNFORTUNATELY - Although I think the show is well produced, had a good plot, and has much potential - The show isn't worth the "heart-ripping" emotional drama they put you through. It's like watching a drama movie and a loved one is dismembered yet they give ZERO satisfaction to the audience when they build you up to: hope, believe, root for the under-dog, have faith in the overcoming spirit of love - all things common in the threads of American TV and cinema. It is against the spirit of love, the spirit of overcoming, the spirit of hope, the under-dog, and more. The emotional turmoil is SO great (without satisfaction/resolve) that (funny enough considering) I believe I could file a real life suit on the show for "intentional affliction of emotional harm" (something mentioned in the show multiple times). With the point of the suit being: What they use to hook you into watching and continue watching the show IS SIMILAR to how other TV shows, movie trailers, movies, etc do it - HOWEVER - the lack of emotional satisfaction of the EXTREME emotional expectations (based on typical cinema and TV) you are lead to have based on this show - over 5 seasons has lead me to believe, disappointedly, that the producers are emotional masochists. Their desire is produce pain in the viewer vs satisfaction or entertainment. Viewers beware.
