a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

/refers to Seasons 1 and 2/ On the crest of the popularity wave of Scandinavian thrillers, the Norwegian series have remained in the shadow of Swedish and Danish ones. Also in my visual field, but in recent years, I have begun to settle a score and found multiple creations worth watching.Among them, Kodenavn Hunter is a more "active" thriller, including power, intelligence, and politics, with topics and elements characteristic to Norway's reputation in the world (sociable refugee policy, international peace negotiations, gender equality). At times, the sympathy feelings and approaches tend to be approached in a too deep manner, but the logic of events is still maintained and viewers do not lose touch with main events and characters.Performances are also realistic, without sticking out, more a real team cast; however, due to the apparent limited number of film actors, several of them have roles in similar series, sometimes creating confusion... But still, if you like intense political thrillers, Kodenavn Hunter is definitely for you, but you might want to watch all episodes in succession.
