Very Cool!!!
... View MoreTied for the best movie I have ever seen
... View MoreSuch a frustrating disappointment
... View MoreOne of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
... View MoreUnfortunately I didn't see more than an episode or two of the first season but this past fall I became a regular viewer after my favorite actor Kyle Secor was added to the cast as a regular. City of Angels became my new favorite quickly and it improved more with each successive episode. CBS made a grave mistake when they did not allow the series to find it's audience and they burdened the series with the tag "African American Show" Seems to me that there were nearly as many hispanics and a fair representation of asians and whites as well. Why not play up the fact that it was realistic, you never see Homicide Life on the Street or Gideons Crossing claiming to be a "Black Show" Anyway it was shameful that we didn't even get a chance to see the remaining episodes that were taped but never shown, this show never had a fair chance. The actors were wonderful, the plotlines and writing excellent, an all-around great show.
... View MoreI love this show and I do not understand why it is being cancelled. There are very few good shows to watch on television but this was a great show. It was very exciting,it kept me on the edge waiting to see the next episode and now it is cancelled again. Please bring it back. I think it's terrible that this is the way good acting is rewarded. There are so many ridiculous sitcom's on television that will do anything for a laugh and when a good show comes along it is cancelled. Please bring it back if not on this network possibly on another that can appreciate good acting.
... View MoreI have been watching City of Angels regularly ever since it aired for the first time. I was really happy to see a Minority Medical drama. I was really disappointed when they cancelled the show earlier this year and now it seems to have happened again. Last week when I was watching it, they didn't do a preview for this week. I thought they weren't ready with an episode or something. When I went to cbs.com today I could not find the link to "City of Angels" page. Does this mean that the show has been cancelled?. It CBS has really cancelled, I can't believe it. I'm really outraged by this. That is one of the best shows I have ever seen on TV and it really hurts to see such a good show go off the air. If CBS can't carry it why can't other networks like UPN or BET carry it?. Anyone has any suggestions. I would really love to see "City of Angels" back on TV.
... View MoreThis show is a keeper. The casting people should be seen as individuals who KNOW the script and have done beautifully in bringing it to life. When Bobby Morse loosens up a bit, he is going to be very watchable. Here at Communications Institute the consensus puts "Angels" at the A level. If the writers keep up their dialogue, the show could be a high mark for 2000.For those who see a reason to stumble into the ethnic morass, we say: "Ethnic, schmethnic!" This is damned good drama acted by talented people.........That's all from here for the time.Phillip GREENLEAF
