    Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

    The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

    I was very excited about this show when i first heard about it. I thought it would be something similar to NBCs How To Catch a Predator, but they are nothing alike. They are not going after people who really deserve what is coming. The episode featuring a contractor named "Ronnie" was disgraceful. All of the evidence against him was completely circumstantial and there was not a shred of proof behind it. Despite all of his legitimate sounding rebuttals to the shows questions, they continued to call them lies and began to make fun of him for the entirety of the show. For all anyone knows he could have been a bad guy, but there was absolutely no evidence to prove that. He just as well could have been telling the truth and the family was the ones who were making everything up. He did not whatsoever deserve the way he was treated for what little evidence was brought against him, and this is not a show that I would ever watch again. Save your time and don't watch this show, they aren't even funny and i cannot believe a producer allowed this to air.

    What a clever spin on To Catch A Predator, (another awesome show that did some good). Can't believe that's not still around. As an Adam Carolla podcast fan, I believe in public shaming. It's healthy. It's informative. It's why we converse and get a second opinion.Anyway.Adam is funny and good at pointing out construction mistakes. Skip is perfect for this show. He's big, buff, and totally knowledgeable about what is expected of a licensed contractor. He's also no one to F with when it comes to reprimanding no-good workers. His wife Allison is super hot and clever at playing detective and tracking these fools down.Look. I don't even own a home. I rent. But I like the documentary/ real life facts of this show. They show how absolutely dangerous lazy and incomplete contractor work can be.You learn. You laugh. You wish you went to the gym more, (like the Bedells). It's a great show and worth a watch.

    First, lets state the obvious this is a TV show. But that goes without saying. There are so many reality shows out there that really don't have a purpose for anything but entertainment. At least with Catch A Contractor they are helping people that otherwise have reached the end of their rope and are not sure what to do next. That is where the passion that Skip and Adam have for their trade comes through. Now in regards to Adam and his method of verbal beat downs towards the hack jobs that call themselves "contractors" SO WHAT! As far as I am concerned that is very mild, to what they should have coming to them. The only reason I gave a 9 and not a 10 is because there is always room for improvement. But this show, in my opinion is nearly perfect! I look forward to watching every Sunday night!

    This has the makings of a show that could go a few seasons. There is no shortage of people who have been shafted by bad contractors. There is a natural conflict build into each episode when customers meet deadbeat contractor. Plenty of emotion from suffering families. Feel good ending built in. Plenty of humor throughout. I was half afraid there would besome violence when they cornered the contractor. I think Skip or Adam could have handled it. Actually, I think Alison could have handled this first contractor. Carolla is a genuinely funny fellow. I have heard him on radio live and marvel at his ability to be humorous on cue. I can't think of anyone funnier than him off the cuff or better suited for live- roasting sheisters. His humor can be a little edgy, but hey, he's comedian. He is supposed to be funny. One of the few shows worth sitting through online advertisements for.
