The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

Wow where do I even begin...this show is so bad.The show has basic kiddie com humor that I'm not mad at, but I AM mad at the godawful characters. Zuri & Emma are the same as they were in Jessie, but their 7 & 13 year old personalities DO NOT belong in their 14 & 20 year old bodies; Ravi, Tiffany & Jorge, are just flat out racist stereotypes; and Lou is the weakest protagonist I've seen on Disney Channel. There's no consistent plot to the show & the characters never change, so if you've watched 1 episode - you've pretty much watched all of them. The 3rd season's sudden & unexplained replacement of Tiffany, Jorge & Xander with 3 young children was odd...none of the characters have developed enough for them to just leave like that. The show should've just ended after season 2 if there was problems with some of the cast not wanting to return.

If it isn't broke don't fix it. They removed everything that made this show great then didn't even address where all the missing characters were. The new characters are not at all a good replacement. I'd rather they had just ended the show at the end of season 2.

This show is terrible. A spin-off of Jessie set at a Summer Camp with the Ross kids. Why was this made? Apparently, this was a brand new show called Camp, but at the last minute Disney decided to throw 3 of the 4 Ross kids on the cast and made it a spin-off of Jessie since they didn't have enough confidence in this new show. All the characters SUCK! Emma, Ravi, and Zuri are just as unlikable brats as they were in Jessie.Emma is still the dumb prissy blonde, Ravi is still a loser and speaks in that atrocious Indian accent which got old on Jessie around the 3rd season. No reason for him to be speaking in that stupid accent. Zuri is still the sassy black girl with an attitude. I can't stand Skai Jackson!Xander is a boring Gary-Stu who's just there to be Emma's attractive love interest. He's basically Lucas 2.0 from Girls Meets World.Lou, Jorge and Tiffany are racist stereotypes. Tiffany is the smart Asian who with strict parents and Jorge is the smelly dirty Mexican kid. Lou is the country girl hillbilly. The actress playing Lou is one of the worst actresses ever! She speaks in that stupid deep voice and overacts her facial expressions like a cartoon character.Gladys is just awful and Hazel is annoying as hell! And they recently threw in a token bad boy character. WAY too many characters on this show. Who is the main character of this show supposed to be?Peyton List can't carry her own show. She bland to boot, so instead they use her as an excuse to wear booty shorts and tank tops to show off her legs and breast for male viewers to drool over. Gross... she's still underage. The writing sucks, the plots suck, the acting sucks, the setting sucks, the characters suck! This show stinks! Jessie didn't need a spin-off. Please cancel this GARBAGE!

Several others have mentioned how awful this show is in regards to stereotypes. They are correct. I watched several episodes with my stepdaughter and cringed every time the Indian and Asian actors came on screen. One thing that really bothered me (and I'm not a prude by any means) was an episode in which one female had an obsessive crush on the teen male. Another female made a bet with her that she could not go 24 hours without flirting with him. The female then made suggestive comments whenever he was close by to the obsessed female, in hopes to make her fail and flirt with the male. I really don't think this is what young kids should watch. No child should watch a character make borderline sexually harassing comments about someone. Pretty much the entire plot of this show revolves around this male character being "hot" and various female characters wanting to date him. All in all, this show is a shame. A camping show (with simple, romantic undertones) would have been a really good niche for Disney. However this show falls flat because it relies too much on stereotypes and is borderline inappropriate.
