Not even bad in a good way
... View MoreThis is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
... View MoreEach character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
... View MoreThe tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

View MoreBuckwild is an awesome TV show!It looks like so much fun, I wish my childhood was like that - mudding, water slides, wrestling, shooting, quad biking etc...I think we can all learn an important lesson from them; that life is short and so we should enjoy every moment we get by being silly and having fun. Everyone needs to lighten up, if anything the show has made me want to move to West Virginia and join in!!!OK some of the things they do are a bit dangerous, but they aren't hurting anyone. They aren't tied down to the serious and predictable routine of society and I love that! Who says everyone has to follow the same boring old path in life?? AND who's says you have to grow up??? They take responsibility for themselves and their homes, whatever else they do is up to them. Also they aren't technology zombies, glued to their iPhone or Xbox, but are out in nature being active and loving life :)Overall - an awesome show! Can't wait for season 2!!!!
... View MoreThere's a new TV show on MTV called "Buckwild". The series follows the lives of nine so- called "young adults" in Sissonville, West Virginia who each have a great love for the small- town American life and seemingly create their own unique ways to enjoy life in the rural area surrounding them. And that's the set-up for the most throughly hateful television show I've ever seen, a show that makes me cringe even when I'm sitting here thinking about it. Their idea of having a good time is by doing the dumbest things in the world. This show makes "Jersey Shore" look like a masterpiece. The people at MTV are passing this off as entertainment, well, I got a newsflash for you: it's deplorable. There isn't a single gag or joke that works. It's appalling, I was feeling disgusted as I was sitting there watching it. It's junk, first-class junk. I know there will be teens out there who like the show, but they just don't understand how stupid, lazy, offensive and awful this show is. It's the wrong image of West Virginia. Something like showing the history of the state, the Hatfield-McCoy feud or the Marshall Thundering Herd/W. Virginia Mountaineers rivalry would be ten billion times better then this. This is just trash to be thrown away, if you ask me. I know that people do this stuff, but they don't need to make a TV show about. Come on, people.I hated this show! Hated hated hated hated hated this show. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it. Citizens of W. Virginia, this show sucks.

View MoreBuckwild * Star Now I Enjoyed some southern reality shows such as lizard lick towing & duck dynasty, but this idiotic jersey shore meets here comes honey boo boo like retread is just plain awful (although not nearly as extremely dreadful as here comes honey boo boo last year, but still close) it's about several strangers move into the west virginia home with their wild attitudes and with antics and the same simple stuff, although they are some good moments, but the rest of this show is just plain awful it makes me truly sad to see the south look good with this mess, like I Say it again although not nearly as truly dreadful as here comes honey boo boo, but close.
... View MoreThe first trailer I saw for this show made me want to see it, because I the show looked like a show filled with trashy southerners (Im from the south myself) and I thought this is going to be another strike out on reality t.v for MTV. And boy was I right. The show starts with two girls meeting another girl for the first time and when I saw it I was just thinking maybe this show is not as bad as I thought. But as the show later progressed, it became gradually worse. Theirs one guy on the show who's accent is so deep they have to use subtitles and through out the show they do nothing but "mudding" and they swim in what looks to be a dirty pond or cesspool. Then one of the cast members states that he became ill, twice, swimming in that cesspool or whatever. Then in the "girls house" the girl who owns the house says that the cops have been coming here a lot because are neighbors are always complaining to them and that they only had one more violation until they got in real trouble. Then Shae says she is not scared of the police and says they should throw a party (to make neighbors mad)and they did. The lady who is the neighbor looks as if she only came their to be on t.v, and caused this big commotion over nothing. Then she later calls the cops, after technically assaulting the girl. They then evict her and I after that I turned it back onto the Fiesta Bowl (Oregon vs Kansas State). That is episode one and they were showing two episodes back to back.I wasn't disappointed in the show at all, from the concept and the trailer I could tell that it was going to be terrible. Its suppose to have some type of drama I think even though they say on the cast meeting video that the girls on the show did not do drama. And from the trailer it looks like redneck Jackass with girls. This show does not know what it is and is terrible, if you like its safe to say you do not have good taste in T.v. This is another reality strike out with MTV. I could tell it would be right from the trailer.
