If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

If you have ever competed in a race from point A to point B, with time as your enemy, you will probably appreciate this show. Four elite athletes compete apart and together in various races that are more difficult than your average 5K, either due to the terrain or the length of the race, or both.The more extreme the race, the more one must rely on his inner voice to pull him through the ordeal. The four athletes (3 men and 1 woman) clue us in to their inner dialogues via voice over or talking directly to the camera. Though their exploits are way beyond anything I might hope to accomplish, I find it enjoyable to accompany them, just as one might enjoy the works of any artist or prodigy.
