The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

I'm a big fan of Evil Dead and Ash Vs. Evil Dead is something like wet dream for me. Really amusing show with big quality. Bruce as Ash is brilliant and others as well. It is shame that Starz had to cancel it due to low ratings. This great show doesn't deserve this.

Season 2 of 'Ash Vs Evil Dead (2016)' is almost immediately a different beast to the first, with the changes in style and tone being subtle but apparent right from the get-go. Indeed, if the first was 'Evil Dead 2 (1987)', then this is definitely a gorier 'Army Of Darkness (1992)'. It uses its comedy, which is much sillier and over-the-top here, to create wacky and increasingly ridiculous situations as opposed to simply placing these charismatic characters in inherently scary yet otherworldly scenarios and having the laughs come from how they react to them. The difference might not seem that big, but it actually is. It means that there are less proper scares this time, at least in the first half, and that the balance between comedy and horror isn't quite as fine-tuned because the emphasis is totally placed on slapstick tomfoolery, with buckets of blood substituting actual horror, instead of the genuinely creepy set-pieces that included the odd one-liner as releases from the tension (instead of the old cat gag). This issue subsides somewhat in the second half with the introduction of the big-bad, who is a unique villain and brings with him the opportunity for some more suspenseful episodes. The new style isn't entirely unsuccessful either, though there are more jokes that fall flat on their faces this time. The cast are just as charismatic as ever, with Campbell remaining the star and the newly introduced players making their mark in satisfying ways. The story is also somewhat improved in term of its structure and pacing, though its final two episodes seem like a non-sequitur compared to what came before and its last moments make little sense in general. The ending is an improvement, though, as it caps off the series in a satisfying way while leaving some room for a third season. It's much better than the quite bitter non-ending of the Ghostbeaters' first outing. In total, this series isn't as good as the first but it finds its footing as something slightly different, which prevents it from feeling stale. It is almost equally as enjoyable and there are some fantastic sequences, including a truly crass but satisfying extended 'fart joke', that stand out in memory long after the show is over. Its an enjoyable ride from beginning to end that's usually very funny, still sometimes scary and always a blast to watch. 8/10

This was such a funny show with tons of action and gore. I seriously can't believe Starz is cancelling the show after 3 seasons. One of, if not the best, horror TV show available.

I love this show, it's funny. the effects are great and the cast works well together. I recently have seen that they are cancelling this show after 3 seasons. I personally think this is a huge mistake. While the ratings may not be what is expected (none are now that there are 200 channels to choose from) I always watched the show following this one. Well alas, no more. For those of you that are into the Walking dead, this is a show I personally think you would enjoy. The only difference is the comedic aspect and the shorter time allotment. Such a shame to see it go. It and the show following it were the only shows I watched on the Starz network. P.S. to all of the other networks, the rating system is now antiquated with so many channels. Your better off looking to places like IMDB and TV.com to find out how many people are actually watching.
