It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

I really love this show. It is a great influence on kids and it tells them all you need to get popular is just be yourself. Thats what i think Ginger is doing. She doesn't try so hard to get popular as much as Dodie does. I am kind of like Ginger. I try to be myself and it works. People in the "in crowd" are starting to notice me. I like this show so much it influences me to make a show kind of like this one but different people. I might not though but it would be very cool. I only have one question though: where can people buy the seasons for this show? i really want them. I looked on every website and i can't find them. I would appreciate it if you could tell me. Thanx

I think Nic is going down the pan, i mean for gods sake, they give us a stupid pre-teen who's only interests in life are: Being 'popular' and boys. Do they think people enjoy watching a silly,loved up pre-teen run around fretting that she's not Courtney's 'bff' yet. Where are the good shows Nic used to show?? oh sos they got shoved into a dark basement called the "never show ever again" section. In my opinion they should have a good look at whats in there bring back all the good shows kids, pre-teen, teens and even adults like to watch, and then shove "as told by ginger in there and throw away the key. What is "as told by ginger" going to teach young children, to worry non stop about whether your popular and to fancy EVERY boy which walks your way. My opinion: DOWN WITH GINGER.

I like this show...and I don't know why. Maybe it's because Ginger is a lot like me, she doesn't really belong to a group and is just average. That being said, "As Told By Ginger" is somewhat unrealistic. In almost every episode, Ginger and her friends try to do something to impress/get in with Courtney Gripling, the most popular girl in the school. Being in middle school myself, I know that most kids are not popular and don't want to be. But I digress. Some of them do, and I guess Ginger would be one of them.The characters are annoying. Plain and simple. Ginger's the most normal one, so she's okay...but her friends, Dodie and Macie, are incredibly annoying. So is Ginger's mom. Her brother is okay, kind of a troublemaker, but that's all right. And while the show's view of middle school life is somewhat inaccurate and distorted, it's still a good show. Ginger is a pretty bad role model when you think about it...but it shows that nobody's perfect and that's a good message to send across. I give Nickelodeon thumbs up on this one.

this is the best cartoon i've ever seen on nick. it's about 3 teen girls going though their life and problems, in a small town in new jersey! it has great plots and even could good be funny for boys. I love it!great for teens! it is rated Y7 BECAUSE of the extent of teen problems. it should be rated Y10 but i it's suitable.
