I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

So far I've seen a few singers that won this competition because of their backstories. Once they tell their sad stories...BOOM! The audience or judges get sucked in. It's always the case. I've wanted talented acts like dangerous stunts, magicians or dancers. After when the AGT singers win, I don't hear from them.I remember Kevin Skinner and his story in 2009. He had a sad story about being unemployed. He may have won the million dollars fair and square but playing his guitar and singing is not a Vegas act. If I wanted to go to Las Vegas, then I would see great performers like magicians or Terry's ventriloquist act. I remember Terry and he was funny and hilarious at the same time. Terry won AGT in 2007 and he had his own act in Vegas. Two years ago, another ventriloquist won and I liked his performance. He made the whole audience laugh and used Howie during his act.Last year on AGT...I was rooting for the Clairvoyants...but that 12-year old singer Grace Vanderwaal won. I was like, "What?! Are you kidding?!" Some people that I noticed online or on YouTube said that the votes were rigged. I bet that some people were shocked and they would say that this was a joke. No, it's not a joke. She won fair and square. I knew that Grace had so many followers online because she has her own web page. That's why I stopped watching this show because of Grace. I've heard that she performed in Las Vegas. A lot of people want to pay their tickets in Vegas and see her perform. To me...it will be a waste of my money. I mean singing while playing the ukulele is not a Vegas act. I would imagine a lot of people boycotting Grace's concert or now they think she's not popular anymore. I would be the first one to boycott her concert.Grace Vanderwaal SUCKS BIG TIME! When she won, I saw her reaction and she was crying. She is a such a cry baby. That's my opinion about her. Period. Now that Grace is about to start her fame it's going to be tough for her. She'll probably start her future for getting a record deal or be the next Disney Channel star. I want to see how this goes or not. They really need to exclude singers from this talent show. I bet that the next winner will be another singer. Without a doubt in my mind.

I love AGT! This is honestly the ONLY television show I take the time to watch. The judges are collectively Hilarious, and it showcases some of the BEST acts I have ever seen! From the singers to the magicians, to the daredevils, to the things in which I have no idea what to call it, America's Got Talent is the ONLY quality show that I want to watch over and over, season after season! One more thing: I watch this show with all my family and it is, for the most part, a clean and genuine show. Some of the people's stories bring tears to my eyes. Do yourself a favor and indulge in this wonderful show! You will not be disappointed!!!

Really hate tyra she is annoying with the hi hi it's ty ty Also I hate the female judges. Mike Yung is awesome but Mel is like "you're amazing but you're not a young hot boy". Honestly I thought she is like a old women black singer how is she so dumb? Also Heidi was like "I sorta agree." Honestly you need to fire these 3 girls and they are just plain annoying and screw the whole show up. Also it's annoying how kids are like "hi, my name's ... my mom died" and the judges are like "aww". gotta give them the golden buzzer eh?. Anyone get rid of them 3 and it's a 9/10

IMDb, for all its many wonders, is really is not set up to rate or review a "reality talent show" that has been running for 9 years and keeps evolving so that, in effect, season 9 has as much in common with season 1 as Obama does with JFK. To this humble scribe, AGT in season 9 is not only the best of all the reality-talent shows but, ironically, the show also demonstrates that it is both possible and desirable for these shows to evolve, to fix their own flaws, and become better. And better is the operative word here. While competitors like THE VOICE actually become more unctuous and puffed-out from season to season (it should be called what it really is - THE EGOS) here in season 9 of AGT the "hosts" have formed a team of common purpose that other shows should be jealous of. Maybe on their own each of these characters has flaws and weaknesses -- no doubt -- but, as an ensemble, Howie, Howard, Mel and Heidi someone have become a show of their own, and that is really what was needed for this "yet another Simon Cowell production" to kick into high gear. The storyline is, was, and always will be just another iteration of the 1950s TED MACKS AMATEUR HOUR; and in their hearts the viewers already know that what starts off as a love-fest will end up looking like a butcher shop, as act after act is cut. Talent-wise -- and I confess I have seen almost every season -- the only actual "acts" I remember are the car wash guy who could imitate Sinatra (I think he won) and a 10 year old girl from Vegas who did a version of Wild Horses that gave me chills (she was booted, probably because her voice and age did not match, and that always freaks out the audience). But the name is, like most TV shows, a misdirection. It is not about the talent on stage, it is about the talent judging the talent. That is the entertainment. And this show has figured that out.
