Good story, Not enough for a whole film

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

The first time I watched the film I didn't know what I was expecting, and I'm so glad that I had no expectations. From the story to the animation/cinematography, Your Name did not disappoint me for a single second of the story that unfolded in front of me. It felt that every word and character mattered in this movie, there were no puzzle pieces that didn't fit. As I was watching, I felt a connection to each character, feeling what they were feeling. Not many movies can accomplish sympathy for each character. But Makoto Shinkai (Director) was able to captivate me as a viewer and as a person. There is no reason not to watch this film, and if you haven't I strongly advise you do. It might just change your perspective.

This made me feel every emotion and laugh as well. Truly amazing. A must watch for anyone who has a heart and a little bit of imagination.

Beauty, Mystery and Creativity, don't they?I am scared for the day Jar Jar Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy get hold of this and make the hero a Disney princess and bore all our pants off.before Disney gives Kimi No Na Wa the Ghost In The Shell treatment get hold of this original and beautiful film. I guarantee you the girl is not Melissa McCarthy and doesn't have body issues.

I usually don't rate movies they are so common. But this movie is awesome. One of the best movies I have ever watched..It is perfect combination of romance, emotion, science, spiritual ... every thing. I never thought love could break the space time continuum.. also I found the dubbed version in hindi language by animetmdubbers, they really made it. Thanks producers and dubbers, you made my day
