What to Expect When You're Expecting Trailers

Challenges of impending parenthood turn the lives of five couples upside down. Two celebrities are unprepared for the surprise demands of pregnancy; hormones wreak havoc on a baby-crazy author, while her husband tries not to be outdone by his father, who's expecting twins with his young trophy wife; a photographer's husband isn't sure about his wife's adoption plans; a one-time hook-up results in a surprise pregnancy for rival food-truck owners.

The acting in this movie is really good.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

With a large cast of attractive, likable actors, and what appears to be high production values, this movie was a big disappointment. Mostly, I blame the script. There were some lines that made me cringe, and I would like to call a moratorium on the term "vajayjay". Stop using it, just please stop. The character played by Rebel Wilson should have been scrapped; she added nothing to the movie and was a source of irritation. I also did not appreciate the depiction of women as high maintenance bitches and men as bumbling idiots. This movie had so much going for it, and so much that was wrong. What a shame.

I genuinely enjoyed What to Expect When You're Expecting and found it to be quite hilarious. The jokes were well timed and it seemed to be outrageously truthful in places and bullsh!t in others. They tried to depict multiple experiences with pregnancy from the very difficult to the "oh it was a breeze". Nobody's perfect yet everyone feels the need to have the perfect experience.I only wish they had explored each character in more detail. They all seemed very shallow below the surface as there were too many individual story lines. You didn't get to see the whole journey for anyone so it left me wanting more.By far the best part of the whole movie was seeing the dad's group hang out. Why does this not happen more often in real life. It's not only a brilliant support system but I'm sure it would be hilarious. Chris Rock stole the scenes for me. The man knows how to be funny.I will definitely give this one a second viewing and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an inappropriate laugh.

I love this film, don't get what all the bad reviews are about or even the average ones. Loads of funny moments, but also some emotional ones. Similar to lots of my other favourite romantic comedies, Love Actually, Knocked Up and Marley & Me spring to mind. This film has a lot of heart, it's exactly my sort of movie, so maybe that's why I like it so much. It had an affect on me, maybe because I'm a soppy, emotional woman! It made me laugh out loud at times & made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up at others. It has a stellar cast and many great and funny moments from all the top billed cast. I wanted to give this film the credit it deserves amongst all the bad reviews.

There's a scene at the beginning of What to Expect When You're Expecting of a woman sitting on the sofa watching a (I assume fictional) reality TV programme 'Celebrity Dance Off' (or something - it's basically like America's Strictly Come Dancing). Her husband sits down next to her and asks her what she's watching. When she tells him, he just gets up and walks off. That scene is a good metaphor for the rest of the film.I read someone else's (probably a man) appraisal of it and he said that it was 'The Chickiest Chick-flick that ever flicked.' I would have to agree.I'm afraid to say that this review is based only on the first 32 minutes as that was all I could stand. I initially only watched it because Cameron Diaz was in it and she's normally good in comedies (even rom-coms). However, the film is actually about five different couples, all experiencing pregnancy from different angles. Cameron Diaz is her usual kooky self, but she's not in it enough to make it worth my while.Basically, this film is for women only (please don't hit me). It just wasn't for me.Guys, seriously, put something with Jason Statham on instead. This film may put you off having children for the rest of your life.
