We see a woman in an apron standing beside a greengrocer's scale. C/U of the lady's legs. Commentator says if you don't have a set of scales like these you can judge weights by other means. Several shots follow that show how much water in a pint glass weighs, and in an enamel bucket. The woman drops three pennies into the scale dish. C/U of the scales reading 1 ounce.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
