We Are Not Angels 3: Rock & Roll Strike Back Trailers

We Are Not Angels III is a Serbian film. In 1973 during a Youth Work Action, budding musician Borko Pavić (Nikola Pejaković) is disappointed to find out that the majority of his fellow young workers prefer to dance kolo to folkish harmonica sounds rather than listening to him play his acoustic guitar. Heartbroken and depressed he confides in his best friend that he read that in America the young people make the devil appear by playing the music backwards who then makes them rich and famous. He becomes the mega popular rock'n'roll superstar Dorijan. Cut to 30+ years later Dorijan is still a debauched, coke-snorting, and alcoholic superstar, except that he's now playing turbo folk instead of rock'n'roll. He lives with a silicone trophy girlfriend Smokvica and his best friend from childhood is his business manager. Despite still having his women, fame, and fortune, Dorijan is unhappy about having to resort to playing a musical style he hates in order to have all that.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

This is an awesome movie and anyone who doesn't think so is either dumb or doesn't understand Serbian humor. Everyone says that the first part was the best but i think that this one is. It's a comedy about musicians and it has everything a comedy should have. You just have to understand the way Serbian people think. You can't say it's a bad movie if you didn't grow up watching and listening to this kind of stuff. Don't get me wrong . I'm not saying that you have to be Serbian in order to understand this movie. This is a movie for the whole world and i recommend it to everyone. Just don't say it's a bad movie if didn't understand it at first.

I have not seen the first one yet, but I watched the second and I enjoyed that. I took the liberty of watching this. Well, where are the laughs? I understand that people may not have liked the second because it is a sequel. Maybe it will happen to me when I see We are not angels 1.Anyway, this one is more to do with music, but the film is quite boring and without much humour at all really. I think Srdjan Dragojevic is a great writer, but he disappointed me with this. It shows the typical story of the angel and the devil but they are not interesting because they ARE NOT FUNNY. That goes for the rest of the characters. This film better hope I do not give it a one after watching the first. The only reason I do not give it a one though, is because of the beautiful visuals this film has with lighting and cinematography. However, that is not enough to like this garbage. If it had some funny moments I could at least respect it, but sadly no. I cannot stop you from watching this, but remember: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I really mean it when I say "Enough!" Enough with bashing the legacy of the first part... The Second Part (MNA2) was a major disappointment, so I was pretty much skeptic about the sequel. Obviously so were the producers because this movie was released on DVD really soon after the movie premiere in theaters all over Serbia. So, if you want to watch it anyway, here's what you should know. Forget the first two movies. Forget Nikola, forget Marina, forget their daughter (MNA2 was quite impressionable, but I cannot remember the girl's name... of course, I am being sarcastic.) Now, this is a story about two guys, Dorijan, a famous folk superstar, and Marko, frontman of an underdog rock band. In the course of film, each one of them will walk in other one's shoes. And as for the elements of the movie, here's what I think: music is quite pretentious, especially Dorijan's songs. I mean, I know this is supposed to be a comedy, but you gotta have at least some credibility. On the other side, photography is modern and directing is quite good. Unfortunately, there's not much a director could do with such a crappy screenplay. To sum it up, we have a bad plot and above-the-average directing. Soundtrack is kinda pathetic. Acting is OK. Could be better though. Reasons why I gave it 4 out of 10? First of all, because of the idea to invite some of the ex-Yu celebs to participate in it. It was fun to watch Petar Graso, Let 3 and Seka Aleksic. Final note to the makers of MNA3... If you are thinking of making MNA4... Don't.

I've seen this film in Wien and it is great! Funny and entertaining! I recommend it to all the people who want to enjoy themselves in the movie theater. Lots of great music. Fresh movie making - great thing for Serbian film making. Excellent young actors. It is about different cultures and tastes colliding, which is a problem one can encounter in any country or society. So it is a universal story, basically. I am used to seeing so many serious films and dramas from that part of Europe, it is a nice change to see that people over there also know how to have a good time and laugh at themselves and others. I recommended it to some of my friends and they enjoyed it as well.
