A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

The acting wasn't the best. The film itself was interesting. A neat take on the old killer in a theater plot. Again, though the characters weren't very engaging because of the lackluster performances.The camera work was a bit distracting at times and some of the characters pulled a Scooby Doo and kept entering out of different doors and popping up at random times. But the "one continuous take" format kind of calls for that.It's worth a watch though.Watch Birdman first, though.
