Best movie ever!
... View MoreIt’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

... View MoreGreat movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
... View MoreSurely not a bad movie all in all, but a bit tedious and I was especially ticked off by the portrayal of men in this movie.I could list several examples but I'll restrain myself not to spoil too much.I'm not one to go out to promote a gender conflict in this movie, it was overwhelming. I kid you not, every single man in the casting list above has done something bad to her or her son. Even the man who helps her is authoritative (do what I say and you'll be fine) and belittling to her, and she even goes as far as pointing out that her murderer-to-be husband used to talk to her in this manner. So the savior and wife beater share the same character trait. Truly "eye-opening".In 2 Fois une Femme, men are basically the unabashed wife beaters, truckers, potential drunk rapists, and overall bearers of bad news and deviant behaviour, like filming your naked mother taking a dip in a pond.It got to a point where whenever a new man entered the picture, something bad or twisted was going to happen to Catherine whose character could not carry a movie on it's own anyway.I wish I hadn't noticed this, because I might've enjoyed the movie more. The cinematography portrays their isolation perfectly and the musical score is great.Even though the movie tends to drag on quite a bit, it's never boring to look at, which helps pass the time. All in all, this movie is perfectly in line with most french Canadian movies, series and advertisement campaigns where men are portrayed as dumbed down apes anyway. Add some pretty cinematography and reasonable acting and you have another bargain bin movie that your mom will enjoy.
