Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal Trailers

Rock superstar Slade Craven has decided to hang up his rock & roll shoes and has planned something very special for his final show -- instead of a typical concert in some sports arena, he'll play a set aboard a 747 jumbo jet, flying from Los Angeles to Toronto, with the gig broadcast live to millions of fans over the Internet. But what Craven didn't count on is the presence of a deranged fan with a gun who attempts to hijack the plane, throwing the show into chaos and putting the lives of everyone aboard the jet at risk.

Highly Overrated But Still Good

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Even though I'm not a fan of Goth rock, Gothic metal, nu-metal, or death/black rock, I see that the film was nice. I watched Turbulence and Turbulence 2: Fear of Flying. When I saw this film online, I watched and downloaded it.In the film, I found something interesting. Slade Craven (John Mann), the Goth Rocker based on and inspired by Brian "Marilyn Manson" Warner, Dani Filth, and Trent Reznor was an AntiChrist by his song who later sees the light and embraces God by rescuing the passengers and crew from Simon Flanders (also played by Mann), the hijacker who impersonates him in order to take the plane under his control and also a member of a Satanic cult named "Guardians of the Gateway". I don't know if he is played by Mann's stunt double during the hand to hand combat. He first eliminates Erica Black, the news anchor who is the high ranking member of the cult who masterminded the plot to crash the plane in a church in Stull, Kansas which they believe that it is where Satan resides. After a hand to hand fight with Simon and locking him in the first class cabin toilet, he rremoves his sign of the devil jewelry and prays to God for help. He then safely lands the plane without anyone hurt. That was good indeed. This film is a must for lovers of aviation, martial arts, and rock music.

A dumb direct to video movie about a shock rock concert on a plane taken over by satanists who want to bring about the end of the world and open the gate to hell. Its really a good film thats completely mindless, but a lot of fun. Hey the actors, Joe Mantegna, Rutger Hauer and others got paid and we get to smile knowingly. I think the key to enjoying the film is just giving yourself over to it and accepting it as the mindless, "I can't believe people are actually dumb enough to make a movie like this" sort of way. It is dumb but if you go with it you may have a good time. To be certain this film probably should not have been released in 2001, but it appearance was purely a coincidence.

I saw this gem of a movie on cinemax, or hbo, one of those cable companies. And I have to say, my perception on movies in general was changed....THIS IS THE WORST MOVIE EVER....I was over my friends house, and we played the trailers. We couldn't stop laughing. This is on the ranks with those cable movies like "The Mangler 2" or "Storm Watch/Code Hunter" Turbulence 2 was bad enough with the cheesy synthesizer music. Now you throw in a couple hundred goth people, a crew of satanic idiots, and a hermaphrodite "singer prodigy", oh yeah, and a "leet haxor" and a disgruntled fbi agent. And you get a whole lot of crap. Or Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal. If your looking for a good laugh when your staying over a friends house, or are looking for some fire wood to burn and keep warm, I would say check out this movie. Otherwise, steer clear of it.

I have to admit that I only caught the last half of this movie on cable, but I liked what I saw. John Mann is a capable stand-in (at least visually) for the Alice Cooper-wannabe set, plus (with the aid of stand-ins, no doubt) he gets to kick the bejeezus out of his "evil twin" terrorist enemy and save the day. Say what you will about the "evil influence" of rock 'n' roll music-- this time the rock star is a good guy, and John Mann does the role proud.
