Anders, Kenneth and Steven went to high school together. Today they are 38, still living in the Swedish suburb but now in completely different stages of life. This warm mockumentary covers the lives of these 3 men.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

I don't know if I can recommend this movie to any people who aren't Scandinavian cause I'm not sure that non-Scandis can relate to the movie or the dry humour in all honesty. But if you are a Swede like me, and you like enjoyed the TV-series 'Blomstertid' like me (which this is a follow up to but still a standalone movie , if that makes sense) then yeah you should check it out for sure. The format is exactly like the TV-series (except 90 minutes instead of 24 minute episodes) a faux documentary with the same cast (and some additions of course) as the series, with Petter Magnusson playing all 3 main characters, and he does so very well IMO.There's not a whole lot to be said about the movie though, it's a character study after all so the events and plots really come secondary, and also don't expect a laugh a minute type of comedy either that's not really what this movie is about. But yeah I liked it, and it makes me want to re-watch 'Blomstertid' again.

This is a truly awful film. The premise is that a documentary-maker is following three of his former class-mates around with a camera. That could have worked out, if not for the following facts:a) Peter Magnusson plays all three lead characters b) the script is extremely bad c) the plot made me check the clock a couple of times during the viewing of this film d) all other characters than those played by Magnusson are even more petty and passé than his areThere are no saving graces in this film. Nothing.I think it's supposed to be funny and deep at the same time. Funny and depressing, too. But it's nothing like that. It's just sad, because I think Magnusson really thinks he's a misunderstood comic genius; he's co-written the script.Don't see this, not even if you liked - or liked to laugh at, not with - his former films. Just avoid this, please.
