This movie gives an in depth information (rather a brief note) on Nayanmars and Thevaram. Hindu Mythology and the Divine power of lord Shiva is clearly explained in this movie. There were 63 Nayanmars (staunch Devotees of Lord Shiva) who lived between 5 A.D. - 10 A.D. Out them, 4 Nayanmar's ( Thirugnanasambandar, Thirunavukarasar, Sundaramurthy and Thirukurippu Thondar) history is nicely portrayed in this movie. Some hymns from Thevaram are played as songs in this movie - A good work to be appreciated. A.P Nagarajan has director similar kind of devotional movies in Tamil namely Thiruvilaiyadal, Saraswati Sapadam and Kandan Karunai. A must to be seen by all Hindu followers.
