This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

First to mention, it's like it's had been filmed with a $800 camera with a hand, maximum 2 persons. It just lowers the rate by half when you see it. The main character is a delusional misogynist who abuses the whole family. It just messed up that I have wanted to end the movie but I just wanted to see may I get out the two out of ten but no! It just bothers me, a weak man abuses the whole family. He is trying to be macho but I've never seen such a weak character. I could slap him with a hand and tell him, go at your place. And that cissy abuses everyone?! All the characters look very weird, it's probably because of the movie or because the budget was less than the price of the camera they filmed it. The daughter's professor look the same age as the girl, I was like come on, couldn't you find some plus five years older character? What they done good in the movie is the plot when you have to realize he had raped his daughter. It could be easily noticed as she is crying and unerringly when her professor comes to her home. Then there is a scene when the father will abduct the professor, all of it is like come on, when you will stop?I got the point this is an anti-feminist movie but couldn't you make something like I spit on your grave 2? That movie has a clear message and much higher budget. I liked the vengeance part on the end which I was waiting 45 minutes. I wanted to rate is as a two but the synopsis & the film wallpaper tell you it's probably 7 or 8 but when I saw I was tricked by a movie promo.I mean nothing is going around in the movie, it's so boring, filmed rate: worst thus when you see who is the abuser and many other things worthless to mention, you can not rate this as a sufficient. Great promo indeed, worst movie indeed.

So, last night, my mom and I were watching this gory film, and I must say, it was definitely DEEP! So many "read between the lines" scenes, I was immediately hooked! My question/theory is about the teacher at the end when she's being killed by the vicious girl they kept in the doghouse. As the teacher is being killed, we see three (I think) flashbacks of two women, one of which I'm sure is the teacher, but the other? I'm not so sure. My first inclination was to say it was Peggy with longer hair. Hear me out. One scene showed the teacher talking to some older guy under the bleachers while, I'm guessing, Peggy was in gym class. The teacher tells the guy how much Peggy has changed, saying she used to dress provocatively and used to be a fun girl. End of that scene! Then, when Peggy's dad is dragging the teacher by the rope to the shed, Peggy is frantically yelling for her father to stop, saying, "She's my teacher; she's my friend!" End of that scene. Lastly, the teacher was just too adamant in watching Peggy and telling her family she was pregnant. So, I'm guessing the two MAY have been involved at one point. And while in the flashback, both women had long hair, I'm also guessing Peggy used to have long hair, but cut it after she found out she was pregnant AND because her father MAY have been raping her, she cut her hair because she was so embarrassed, hurt and angry. People do irrational things when hurt, and cutting one's hair is one of them. So yea, feel free to chime in. Like I said, it's just a theory of mines. Of course, the teacher could of just been flashing back to some of her most fondest memories with another woman since she knew she was about to die, just as the mother did when the Woman was killing her. What do you think???! I'm curious to know!

When a deliciously mad Australian country lawyer, with all the appearance of being "normal", captures and attempts to "civilize" a feral member of a violent clan that has roamed the northeast coast for years, much latent, longstanding family dysfunction erupts. Incredulously outrageous mayhem soon ensues. Only Australia could have produced this dark, multi-layered film with so much targeted irony. The title carries a well-deserved 6.1/10.0 on I.M.Db...but the brief synopsis fails to fully describe its twisted content. I found it thoroughly diverting & sometimes grizzly through its 100 minutes. Warning! It's tough at times for those with weaker constitutions.

Either i'm missing something here or the reviews here are more than a little odd. This films dreadful. I wanted to slap the daughter around myself half way through the acting was so one dimensional. That's something for me when i cant usually spot bad acting. The pacing of the films muddled and is so full of plot holes you'd be mistaken you were watching a bad 70's soap opera. Its bad, very bad and if you don't believe me watch it. You to, will be scratching your head at anything over 5 for a review. The characters are very flawed and don't seem to really know who they are. Ironically, except the teacher who's done over before shes had a chance to and the feral one. At one stage i'm wondering why after the protagonist loses it why on earth someone wouldn't call the Police, not just once, but several times. Its comically bad. The end? Haha, i save reviews for films that have left me angry that someones had the audacity to release. Watch it.
