The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Dre, Snoop, Corrupt, and Eminem, what a lineup,, the wash was a pretty decent movie about a pair of guys who get hired at a Car Wash so they can make some legitimate dough. the brothers are hired, without the owner knowing that they were brothers, and one brother is put in charge of the other one,, he has to keep him on the straight and narrow, and at one point geth the other brother suspended from his job. later on the boss keeps getting death threat phone calls and is kidnapped from the car wash, the rest of the boys at the wash must team up and get their boss back from the maniac who has taken him,, special appearance by Emenim at the end was hilarious.

DJ Pooh ought to be ashamed of himself writing this debacle. And all involved should be embarrassed for signing on to do it. I know this isn't a remake of the Michael Schultz original. It better not be. Even the scenic similarities make this movie worse than it would have been as a stand alone film. But given how good "Car Wash" is, no one should have greenlighted "The Wash" if they had any decency or integrity for what good comedy is. I would have even been happier with a scene-for-scene remake over the story that "The Wash" uses. It would have been very interesting to see how the new faces would have played characters like T.C. and Abdullah. But perhaps that was too much to ask. I don't fault DJ Pooh for wanting to do something fresh and new with a throwback concept, but this effort is ridiculous. And to the people who see this as a good "black" comedy, please get a better sense of what that means. Good "black" comedy should follow the same quality guidelines as a good "white" one. Thinking otherwise does a disservice to viewers and the entire film industry. Unfortunately, there are many in control who don't care what idiots movies like "The Wash" and "Soul Plane" make black people out to be. Just something to think about. Shame on "The Wash."

Horrible movie that just makes you want to beat the hell out of Snoop Dogg and I like Snoop. Eminem's part is terrible and over acted. Dr. Dre delivers with yet another lack luster performance. I had to stop myself from attempting to swallow my tongue while i sat through this tripe.

This is the lamest, most boring, stereotypical piece of crap ever made. What a bunch of zeros. I can't believe a movie this bad can be made!! Who pays money to produce this drivel? There is no story, no action, no jokes, no comedy of any sort, nothing in the least bit interesting, absolutely nothing, just a bunch of zipperhead rappers who have smoked too much dope to realize how bad their movie is. LOSERS!
