While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

... View MoreTHE TERMINATORS is yet another rip-off movie from The Asylum, this one cashing in on the release of TERMINATOR: SALVATION. It's a futuristic story of human rebels battling against their robot overlords. Like the TERMINATOR series, there's a muscle guy walking around with a robot endoskeleton inside him; he gets shot a lot but nobody can damage him. Occasionally a CGI robot appears to kill a few people and the best I can say about that is that the CGI isn't as bad as I've seen in other Asylum movies. Truth be told, at least this film is fast-paced and slightly more adult than some of the dumbest Asylum movies in existence, but you're still better off watching any TERMINATOR movie (yes, even GENISYS) over this.
... View MoreThe only good thing about this production is the end credits theme which isn't bad although it has nothing to do with this production now everyone else is awful the acting is bad as you would expect it and of course this guy Paul London is over the top as the cyborg the effects look like a fan made movie and they even take scenes from the original like when Arnie pulled Brian Thompson's heart or when he cut his arm and exposed the endoskeleton. The dumbest scene in the movie is when one of those machines takes this column hits the car and car flips in the air and then people had a problem with the bus on Genisys i mean really? If there is anyone out there that enjoyed this movie or thought it was better than Terminator 3,4 and 5 then there is something seriously wrong with you honestly. I give this film an F and and an 1 out of 10. PS: The Poster is the biggest joke ever one of this things come in the end of the film for about 2 minutes even the Sheriff is a robot for god shakes.
... View MoreI always go to IMDb to have some advice if I have my doubts about a flick. This is such a kind of flick that I found on Blu Ray, new, for only 3 euro's. That price immediately says it all. This can't be a good flick. Nevertheless, sometimes you have to go on your instincts or do have to know more about the distributors. Or do read all the reviewers and see why someone loves a bad movie. This flick came out on the Asylum label and geeks do know what that means. Rip-offs of blockbusters titles. And yes, this just added one letter to make use of The Terminator (1984).Of course already being sued by a major for The Day The Earth Stopped (which The Asylum won) they go on and on by doing so. But the script itself doesn't follow the originals. And that's were so many byers found themselves being fooled. But I like The Asylum more than the SyFy productions because they use good CGI.I enjoyed this flick because there was a story to tell. Maybe there aren't any terminators throughout this flick like seen on the sleeve. The terminators (Paul Logan)here are just humans but they all look the same with the same clothes. But the use of CGI and a lot of effects did work for me. I'm used to see cheap CGI in all those years and this is mediocre. Shotguns are done CGI wise even as they hit the terminator. On part of the acting, I could dig that too. It's not that they are going to win prices but to end, I was amused. I was surprised by the little gore added and the use of red stuff. It's not one that I would recommend to the hoi polloi. This is for the lovers of bad flicks or Z-movies. It's above average even as most of the reviewers are tearing this flick down. Gore 2/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 2/5 Story 3/5 Comedy 0/5
... View MoreTerminators had me laughing out loud so often that I couldn't help but be charmed. Taken as a spoof it gets a higher rating from me than if I had viewed it as a serious film. I would have watched this just because it has A. Marinez in it. The actor who plays Sam is a new favorite in a couple of B films I've seen. I'm going to start his fan club! He led his resistance with a cigar in his mouth. What cool. Way to go Gary Miller-Youst! A campy Sci Fi about artificial intelligence attempting to take over the world with a plucky group of human resistance fighters battling to save the planet. I especially like the one liners. The amount of fake blood in some of the scenes was hilarious. If you like spoofs and spunky, you will like this film. All in all, the movie was a perfect Saturday afternoon flick.
