A joy to behold from beginning to end, this filmic adaptation of the beloved television show is considered by many to be the point at which the series essentially ended - as it marked the initial departure of the founding creative team - but it thankfully lived up to, and indeed exceeded, the expectations set by the first three seasons to become an incredibly funny, beautifully animated and effortlessly charming tale of everyone's favourite pineapple-dwelling sea sponge. 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004)' is not only hilarious and incredibly smart, working both for kids and adults alike, but also surprisingly emotional and more-than-competent from a story stand-point too, becoming one of the most lasting and memorably smile-inducing animations of the twenty-first century. It's endearing, rib-tickling, smart, side-splitting, laugh-a-minute stuff. 7/10

When I was a kid, and discovered Spongebob, I immediately fell in love with the show. The first three seasons of the TV show were absolute comedy gold! When the movie was released, I was so excited to see Spongebob on the big screen! I saw it, and it has now become one of my top 5 favorite animated movies of all time!First up, the characters. The characters that we all know and love from the TV show, are here in full force. The dynamics between Spongebob and Patrick are absolutely hilarious. So many memorable one-liners, my personal favorite being Spongebob saying, "you don't need a license to drive a sandwich." While some of the characters, like Sandy and Gary, receive only cameos, the new characters are just as, if not more, entertaining. King Neptune and Mindy were great additions, as were Dennis and David Hasselhoff. All in all, every character is great! The plot of the movie is very creative, as is the environments. So many memorable locations: The Krusty Krab 2, Thug Tug, The Trench, Shell City and Goofy Goobers to name some of them. The plot of Spongebob and Patrick traveling to Shell City to return Neptune's stolen crown was so much fun to watch. Not to mention, this was the first time (not including the episode Pressure) that we got to see Spongebob and Patrick on the surface, interacting with the real world. The animation in the movie is top notch. While hand-drawn animation might not look as realistic as 3-D animation, I have always appreciated still seeing hand-drawn animated films. The expressions with the characters are great, as are all the character designs. In conclusion, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie is an absolutely amazing animated film that will surely not be forgotten. The characters are great and memorable, the plot is fun, the animation is great, and all the comedy jokes hit! I would highly recommend seeing this movie if you have not. The Spongebob Squarepants Movie absolutely gets a 10/10!!!

SpongeBob SquarePants takes leave from the town of Bikini Bottom in order to track down King Neptune's stolen crown. If you loved the TV show you won't be disappointed by this film because it's truly hilarious from moments such as David Hasselhoff's Baywatch cameo to Spongebob and Patrick singing the Goofy Gooper song and even driving a a strange car that is made of a sandwich it's childish and super funny but it also has a lot of adventure and the plot was pretty hilarious with King Napture and the crown just hilarious especially when Spongebob started singing again it became even better. This is a movie that both kids and parents can actually enjoy!!

Hey Guys RegularShow1 here again and today I'm going to review "The SpongeBob Square Movie" a movie I love as much as the show. I remember seeing this movie when I was 8 years on Thanksgiving Day Weekend 2004 and I loved this movie. The movie is about SpongeBob going to Shell City with Patrick to get back King Neptune's crown but Plankton ends up mind controlling everybody in the Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob and Patrick try to get to Shell City. My favorite Part of this movie is when SpongeBob plays the Electric Guitar to "Goffy Goober Rock" witch was funny. The Film guest started "Jeffery Tambor" as "King Neptune", "Scarlett Johansson" as "Mindy", "Alec Baldwin" as "Dennis" and "David Hasselhoff" as Himself. BOTTOM LINE I LOVE "THE SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS MOVIE" and is part my childhood. Anyway I'm giving "THE SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" it a 10 out 10 stars. Anyway I'm RegularShow1 and have a nice day.
