The Secret KGB UFO Files Trailers

For five decades, American agencies have stockpiled information on UFOs. So did their counterparts behind the iron curtain. Soldiers, scientists and spies all paint a disturbing picture of the KGB's secret campaign. The UFO encounter that almost sparked a nuclear war. The pair of MiG fighters that tried to shoot down a UFO - both jets blown out of the sky! Stunning proof that the Soviets recovered something not from this earth! Amazing film footage smuggled out of Russia. This exclusive investigation into one of the most compelling events of our time is hosted by Roger Moore.

Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

1969 film of a crashed saucer supposedly investigated by the Soviet Army is the main attraction here. Unfortunately it plays like the Russian version of "Alien Autopsy". All the declassified Soviet Union U.F.O. data more or less mirrors the United States. Promoting the rantings of fringe believers and offering little in the way of believable facts. Although redundant and too lengthy for the limited material presented, even if the featured crash and autopsy film is nothing but a hoax, "The Secret K.G.B. U.F.O. Files" is entertaining. Although the movie offers way more questions than answers, it should still be of interest to those who believe in extra-terrestials. - MERK

I was expecting to be amused but this was full of jokes of all types throughout. Unfortunately that does not mean this was an interesting video. It was the equivalent of turning a 30" McDonalds commercial into an hour-long video history of hamburgers. It's not simply repetitious; everything is repeated a dozen times. It was like being back in elementary school. Except you don't even actually learn five minutes' worth of knowledge. You hear a ton of questions without their being answered. You're treated to scads of meaningless statements such as, "Experts universally agree that, if an actual craft from outer space crashed on earth, it would deserve close study." They aren't even trying to scam us but just bore us. Poor Roger Moore.

I didn't see anything so annoying for a long time. This ridiculously unconvincing documentary is an insult to good taste and sane logic. It's shame too see Mr. Moore in a role of insider/spy who reveals stupendous facts about sightings of UFO's across USSR. There is no single reasonable statement or believable document in whole hour-an-a-half-lasting agony. Many times I found laughable similarities with Criswell monologues from Ed Wood movies. Yes - it's that bad! (unfortunately, not of so-bad-it's-good category). Oh yeah, not to forget equally dreadful music. This movie attacks from all directions. Watch only if you're ready for mind-boggling pain-inducing experience. If there are aliens, I hope they never see this s**t.

Well, It's definitely much more thrilling than the "JFK Assassination Files", also hosted by Roger Moore (The Saint, James Bond). I must admit that I have decided to watch this pseudo-documentary only because I'm a great fan of Roger Moore. Unfortunately he doesn't play in many movies these days, so that was the only possibility to see him. The video is quite engaging but doesn't provide new information, maybe except a new point of view (the KGB point of view). Its disadvantage is that it's too long, it should be much shorter in order to be more fascinating - you can get bored from time to time. For Moore and UFO fans only.
