Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

Couldn't be worse. There's no story, just a try for fryday 13th. Awful directing, awful acting, awful conversations, awful visual effects, where in every kill there's a close-up, so you don't really see the stuff happening. Someone gets beaten up, no broken noses, no broken teeths, nothing is broken. Lot's of syrups and no point. It's just a bit sh*t with some cool music effects. That's all. I couldn't even watch the last 10 minutes because i was forcing myself to watch it about 30 minutes before the ending. If you like bad movies, where there's only syrup flying around, then go for, this is your movie. If you like movies that, at least, make any sense, then keep searching. You won't find it here.

Firstly, I have to say that I had a great time watching this movie but that's probably because I love those kinds of movies. The Redwood Massacre is a (really) low budget film with lots and lots of blood and features a serial killer hunting down a group of campers. Its plot is just that simple.Lets start with the good points of the film, and at this point I have to say that I just loved the scenery shown in the movie as well as the inside of the Redwood house. They were really great and the costumes were well-made too. I also liked the variety of the murder scenes and the variety of weapons-tools the killer used. There was a lot action and killings throughout the film so in that aspect you won't easily get bored. On the other hand, The Redwood Massacre has lots of flaws too. Most of the cast are doing a mediocre job at best but that can't be helped because of the low budget. I enjoyed the death scenes a lot but some of them weren't that well-thought and they really overdid it with the blood. So even though the death scenes are visually enjoyable and bloody(if you like that style) some of them seem unnatural. Also, the quality of the movie drastically drops after the one hour mark. The last 30 minutes of the movie are nowhere as good as the rest of it. Last but not least, in this movie you will find one of the most unnecessary and stupid side-characters found in a movie ever(I won't spoil details so just watch it and see for yourself).I will give this movie a 6 because I myself liked it and as an appreciation of the effort made in a low budget movie but an objective review would be lower. My advice; watch it if you like bloody slashers but don't expect much of a plot or something "new" or avoid it if you prefer more serious horror films, you won't find that here.

This movie was truly awful. It's a try by the creators to make a Friday the 13th style slasher, but it fails miserably. The makeup effects for the killing scenes were actually quite good, but if that is the only good thing out of this movie, then it falls completely flat on its face. IF the creators had spent a bit more time on this, planning out the script, more rehearsals for the actors, it might have been better. The acting... well, honestly there wasn't any. TRULY stupid decisions were made by the actors in this movie, making it almost a joy to see them done in lol. Do yourself a favor and give this one a pass. All the "great" reviews I've seen on this one obviously came from friends/family of the crew/actors.

OMG! I rooted for the badguy, even though he was stupid. However, the kids were dumber than most I've seen in horror films.Yes, this was low-budget. I have to say they had good kills, if that's your thing.Kirsty was the most annoying character. She was mean from the start and rather confrontational for no reason. When they got up the next morning and Mark and Jessica were missing, it was like a scene was missing. When the killer had three of the kids in his lair, I thought it was weird. He killed anyone else in the woods where he found them, but he decides to knock out the kids, drag them all the way back to his place for some ritualistic torture. It wasn't consistent with the other kills. If you're bored, and you want something to watch, maybe you might enjoy this. I do not recommend, because it almost put me to sleep (no joke).BTW, the people who died deserved it for their stupidity.I gave this a 4-star rating. It would've been lower, but I could tell they did try to put together a fun movie, and I think effort counts.
