I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
... View MoreAlthough I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
... View MoreThere's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
... View MoreThis has to be one of the best shorts I've seen in quite some time. I came across it on the internet while randomly browsing.I was hooked from the beginning. Great cinematography - it didn't feel amateur. The script was well written, the makeup was great, and it kept my eyes glued to the screen. I have a hard time understanding how they fit the story into a 23 minute short without feeling rushed or empty. I wish that this was an entire feature film as it did leave me wanting to see how the story eventually plays out. I hope this team gets a shot at some big titles as I know they wouldn't disappoint. This short reminds me of Shaun of the Dead in a way. Highly recommended.
... View MoreHoward Phillips is having a very bad day. Everywhere he goes, ordinary people suddenly start vomiting around him, before flying into a (literally) murderous rage and trying to kill him. Postmen, gardeners, joggers... even his cat. Sure, it's the silly season and sometimes people get stressed but something is very very wrong here. Maybe he shouldn't have ditched his job as one of those dudes who hold up signs for the latest Christmas bargain, while dressed up as Santa. But hey, the pay sucked, and after taking advice from a hobo (as ya do), Harold decided to be a guinea pig for a medical testing lab. Apparently, it was for one of those new & improved deodorant sprays- y'know, the kind that turns hot chicks into nymphos and throw themselves at you? (me neither actually. Dammit.)Well... this particular spray, had kinda the opposite effect. And if Harold wants to see in the new year, he better come up with a plan to stay alive...I caught this short from Bill Palmer (who wrote, produced, directed and edited it) at the Edinburgh Dead By Dawn festival and it's quite frankly one of the funniest things I've ever seen.At 23 minutes long, it delivers in absolute spades what it sets out to do and is just plain brilliant from start to finish.10/10, a rating I almost never give out, and the first IMDb review I think I've given the full perfect 10 to. reason being, it's actually perfect- absolutely excellent editing, great dialogue, decent gore and belly laugh comedy, while taking a spot on and hilarious swipe at advertising to boot. This review is really for any film festival organiser to seek it out, as being a short, it'll probably sadly only get seen this way.Absolutely flawless short and I really hope Bill Palmer gets a crack at a feature length genre or horror film, because this is quite frankly awesome.Good job guys and thanks for this, I hadn't laughed so much at a festival in ages.
