Save your money for something good and enjoyable

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

During a blackout, the child enlists the help of his bright pal to save the town's Yuletide from being engulfed in darknessNow the general story is okay. the animation however if creepy and strange and that was not the effect they were going for. The story however comes to a complete stop when a 3rd rate score comes on and the characters break into song. This may hold small children's attention but I would not count on that.
