Now that's truly a performance worthy a national award and from direction till the screenplay, every department is ruled by the respective persons involved...Ajay till Sushant every actor lived the role as if they themselves were the real life characters...Direction by Rajkumar Santoshi is exemplary and his piece of work is evident in his past films alongside makes him the perfect master to make the film...One of the best Bhagat Singh Biopic ever made in Bollywood and it's at par with Manoj Kumar's Shaheed...A diamond classic!!

There is no doubt that the film can be compared to Queen Margot, since both films have almost equal flamboyancy and detailing of its perticular period. Bravo to almost all the cast and crew of the film and specially the lead protagonist Ajay Devgan. Wow, mindblowing performance from him and there isn't a single doubt or debate on the fact that he is one of the most versatile actors in the industry.Other than him, each and everyone gives a brilliant performance and hats off to the director Rajkumar Santoshi. Overall, a perfect film in every sense and a very very rare biopic of a hero.My rating full 10.

What makes a great movie great is how it can connect to the audience. This movie certainly achieves that goal. This movie beautifully elaborates and enlightens the protagonist's real life and surely connects to the Indian audience. Great cast, great plot and very good dialog selection which suits how the depicted heroes were in their real lives. For people who don't know about 'Shaheed' Bhagat Singh, this movie incites a great curiosity. Get some free time, watch this movie, and I am sure you will not be disappointed ( if you like the deep thinking genre of movies like the Shawshank Redemption, A Beautiful Mind etc). There are no Bruce Lee or Arnie style fighting, there is no dancing around trees.... it is just a fact based legendary movie on an Indian legend.

Stunning, absolutely stunning. Whenever one witnesses a film like 'Legend of Bhagat Singh', one can only just stare and mentally get back to the earlier days. It's hard to find a single flaw throughout the film as the whole cast and crew join hands to give a stunning presentation of the events that took place in 1928 British-India. Ajay Devgan is absolutely brilliant, he gives a performance of a lifetime! Devgan effortlessly gets in the shoes of the legendary patriotic hero and takes us on a ride through history. An excellent performance from almost the whole cast and above all Sushant Singh who gives his very best as 'Sukhdev'. Top notch performances along with a beautiful score is not all you will get, there is much more here that makes the film much more than just a biographical epic.In the list of top Biography epics like 'Joan of Arc - The Messenger', 'Queen Margot' and many more, 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh' definitely hits the list as well. It's a true masterpiece.
