Too much of everything

... View MoreOK, spoilers abound, so don't read if you care.Normally I'd give film like this 5/10 as its lame attempt at comedy. Reason it gets 1/10 is because its obviously written, produced and directed by those clueless about strip clubs, sex industry and PUA in general. As some might have guessed from my name I am the guy who made fortune from PUA over last decade, and if you've read any of those books you know I used to own strip clubs in both USA and Canada. I am only mentioning this to show that I am more than qualified to write this and be right.Whores do not cost thousands of dollars. An A-grade porn star in her prime might. A stripper who works any day other than Friday and maybe Saturday night is broke and needs cash. She will not say line such as 'I don't leave club for under a thousand'. In each strip club, out of 10-20 girls working there during a shift, only few are making good money. Rest are getting scraps. Top strippers in top clubs rarely make a thousand on best nights of their lives. In this film, every ugly girl is charging thousands. In one scene two repulsively unattractive women show up, and guy pays them 400 bucks a piece. While main actor was perfect fit for 'Boy Meets World' fact that he never got chick playing Topanga IRL should make it obvious that girls do not dream about guys like him. So one of very few attractive women in film, a bartender, would be highly unlikely to give him pity sex.Main issue I have with this film is that it feels like it was either made by feminists, or guys who cant get laid and are too stupid to get some any other way than tossing thousands of dollars at ugly girls I'd not do if they paid me. Understand this: women are cheap and easy. Only ugly women who no man wants set higher standards, as they know nobody wants them anyway, so they can at least pretend they are worth something. This movie sucks.
... View MoreI was never a huge fan of Fred Savage. However, Savage really did a spectacular job in this film and I was impressed. The comedic timing of several moments in the movie were impeccable... whether it was the acting, directing, editing, or all of the above, it as overall great. As the movie progresses it becomes very dark and you feel for what the protagonist (antagonist) is going through. Savage makes you empathize for him. Relationships with all characters were organic and developed. The director Segal did an amazing job at showing the human as an onion showing all layers of who we are and at the same time adding an element of humor to lighten the darkness of what lies deep within all of us as humans. Humor in Honesty... Many props to Segal. A Definite must see!!
... View Morethe Last Run, is a comedy about this man who loses his girlfriend of 3 years, due to the fact that she's been cheating on him. The only way he can get her out of his mind is to go on a run of sleeping with as many women as he can. What turns out bad for Stephen Goodson (Fred Savage)is he becomes so reliant on sex that he can't even see love right in front of his face. And it's not until a trip to rehab classes and the advice of a 9 years old does Stephen realize that he needs to find away to make things right. Not recommended for a date movie because the romance scenes are few and far between but this is a pretty good movie if your a Savage fan. 7 out of 10 stars!!
... View MoreI heard about this movie, and now that I've finally seen it, "The Last Run" is better than I even imagined. I saw "Knocked Up" with my girlfriend the day it opened and thought that was the funniest movie I'd seen in a while. But "The Last Run" was even funnier! Fred Savage is classic, Steven Pasquale is ten times better than Paul Rudd, and Amy Adams has never looked better. "The Last Run" is smart and edgy and the writing is incredibly sharp. This is a movie that should have been released on 3000 screens and grossed $100 million. I'm going to watch it again and again because there are so many lines that are sure to become classics. I hope that this movie gives Fred Savage a whole new career because his talents as a comedic actor have been overlooked. Whatever movies you rent this summer, make sure "The Last Run" is on your list.
