The Great Who-Dood-It Trailers

Woody Woodpecker is having a good time wandering around the County Fair and blowing his bubble gum, and is a big distraction to Buzzy Buzzard's attempts to sell his home-made tonics. Buzzy grabs Woody to demonstrate his wares on him and Woody is not pleased at all with this turn of events. He runs into a magician's tent and uses all the equipment there to make Buzzy's life miserable.

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

Was very fond of Woody Woodpecker and his cartoons as a child. Still get much enjoyment out of them now as a young adult, even if there are more interesting in personality cartoon characters and better overall cartoons. That is in no way knocking Woody, because many of his cartoons are a lot of fun to watch and more and also still like him a lot as a character. Do like Woody and Buzz Buzzard together, and Buzz is getting stronger all the time with each cartoon. With that being said, there is a preference for Woody being partnered with Wally Walrus, the chemistry is more inspired, their cartoons often funnier and Wally is a stronger personality contrast.Seeing the two characters at the County Fair this time, 'The Great Who-Dood-It' is nonetheless a good example of a solid Woody and Buzz cartoon that actually doesn't have that much wrong with it. It is not one of Woody's funniest cartoons and story-wise it is on the formulaic side with the pacing to begin with not being as sharp as other cartoons of his.Woody is somewhat obnoxious here but this is intentional for means of conflict, he is still a funny character who carries 'The Great Who-Dood- It'. Buzz is a great foil, he is just as amusing and one feel more sympathetic towards him than in most other cartoons of theirs. They work well together. As ever, the animation is very good. The characters are well drawn, but even better are the rich colours, meticulously detailed backgrounds and smooth backgrounds.Music is another strength here. It's characterful, lushly orchestrated and is not only dynamic with the action it even enhances it. 'The Great Who-Dood-It' is very amusing and well-timed, with the second half being typically wild. Most of the pacing is fine, with it coming to life after a slightly slow start once the conflict is introduced. On the whole, solid and fun cartoon. 8/10 Bethany Cox
